Background
In this discourse, Guru Sanju teaches the science of Kumbhak as a doorway into healing power, respiratory intelligence, energy circulation, and higher consciousness. She explains that breath retention is not a simple breathing exercise, but a complete energetic and physical science.
The transformation offered is from personal sadhana to healer training. Guru Sanju shows how external Kumbhak centers consciousness, activates the upper chakras, and moves prana toward the head, while internal Kumbhak builds heat, metabolism, lower chakra activation, and physical vitality.
She guides the student into understanding respiratory centers, stem cells, vasodilation, inflammation, prana, ojas, cold milk, ghee, healing through hands, Ida, Pingala, and the difference between cooling energy and cold stagnant energy.
This discourse matters because it reveals the beginning of Energetic Mastery Method training. Guru Sanju is preparing the student to understand energy scientifically, experience it directly, and eventually use his presence and hands to heal others.
Kumbhak Reveals the Health of the Respiratory Centers
When natural pauses happen after inhalation and exhalation, it is a positive sign. It means the respiratory centers in the brain are working well.
The respiratory centers control breathing rhythm, breathing speed, and the natural intelligence of breath. When they are healthy, the breath does not remain mechanical.
You should study the respiratory centers in the brain, especially the medulla oblongata. This understanding will help you because, over time, I am going to make you a healer.
The Science Must Meet the Experience
You will experience the energetic aspect directly, but you must also know how to articulate it. A healer should understand both the experience and the language behind the experience.
Advanced students do not only receive knowledge. They enter satsang with the guru, where energy, science, experience, and direct realization begin merging.
You need to know why you are doing Kumbhak and what its benefits are on the physical body, energetic body, brain, nervous system, and consciousness.
Kumbhak and the Renewal of the Body
When you hold the breath, mild oxygen deprivation happens in the body. During that period, normal exchange is paused, and the body enters a different physiological state.
Blood circulation, oxygen utilization, carbon dioxide balance, and cellular activity begin shifting. Kumbhak affects the way blood reaches the cells and the way the cells exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide.
When done correctly, it improves vasodilation, opens blood vessels, supports circulation, and helps the cells receive what they need for energy production.
Inflammation and Unused Oxygen
When oxygen is present but not properly used by the cells, it can become reactive in the body. This creates heat, irritation, and inflammation.
Most health problems today are deeply connected to inflammation. Brain problems, nervous system problems, autoimmune issues, and many chronic diseases are connected to this inflammatory state.
You need to study inflammation, respiratory centers, and stem cells. This will make your understanding deeper and prepare you for healing work.
Stem Cells and the Seed of Renewal
During Kumbhak, the body receives a signal of emergency and renewal. Stem cells are released from the bone marrow into the blood.
Stem cells are the fundamental cells of the body. They are the seed from which different kinds of cells can be created.
Just as a seed becomes a tree with branches, stem cells become different tissues and support repair, renewal, and rejuvenation in the body.
Kumbhak as a Chapter of Energy Science
Kumbhak itself is a complete chapter to study. There are thousands of physical and energetic benefits.
Once your brain learns Kumbhak as a useful technique, it begins applying it for different conditions. If there is cough, congestion, lethargy, or heaviness, Kumbhak can be used differently.
In the morning, when the body feels congested or dull, inhale, exhale, hold the breath, and move the body while doing it. Movement increases carbon dioxide and creates the ratio required for vasodilation.
The Energetic Mastery Method
You are entering a new energy science PhD. You are becoming a student of this deeper science.
The Energetic Mastery Method is not only for direct healing of patients. It is also for training students who can learn from me and eventually become healers.
This method will have a proper process, certification, online and offline teaching, and a clear system for those who are ready to become Energetic Mastery Method healers.
External Kumbhak and the Upper Chakras
There are two ways to hold the breath. One is after inhalation, and the other is after complete exhalation.
External Kumbhak happens after exhalation. It is mostly connected to the upper three chakras: throat chakra, third eye, crown chakra, and bindu region.
External Kumbhak moves energy from the surface to the center. It takes you closer to consciousness and makes life feel rooted in the now.
External Kumbhak Resets the Mind
External Kumbhak resets everything. Mind goes away, and energy returns to the center.
Prana moves toward the head, and Kundalini, which uses prana as fuel, also moves upward. You begin feeling that your reserve of energy is in the head and that you are centered.
This is why external Kumbhak is a powerful solution for Kundalini-related energetic issues. It helps the energy return to consciousness.
The Physical Effect of External Kumbhak
During external Kumbhak, the body goes through mild oxygen deprivation and carbon dioxide rises in the blood. Since new oxygen is not coming in, the body begins using the available oxygen more efficiently.
The brain senses this as an emergency and sends blood toward the vital organs. The heart, lungs, kidneys, and essential organs receive priority.
After Kumbhak is released and fresh oxygen comes in, circulation improves, oxygenated blood moves through the body, and the whole system feels fresh and renewed.
Kumbhak Rejuvenates the Whole Existence
If you practice Kumbhak for fifteen to twenty minutes, you will feel fresh and rejuvenated. Your total existence begins renewing through this process.
If you do it consistently for six months, you will see healing in the body. The skin, eyes, eyesight, and nervous system can begin changing.
Wherever there is a specific issue, give intention during Kumbhak. If you want the eyes to heal, send healing energy to the eye region and practice continuously for one month, two months, and three months.
Energy Circulation Is the Core
The Energetic Mastery Method is based on energy circulation. When energy circulation happens, the remaining benefits come as by-products.
Your hands are healing energies. Everyone’s hands have healing energy, but the energy must be pure, concentrated, and directed through attention.
If there is impurity, the energy does not reach properly. If attention and purity are there, energy can pass through the hands and create healing.
Internal Kumbhak and the Fire of the Body
Internal Kumbhak happens when you inhale and hold the breath before exhaling. This has a different function.
Internal Kumbhak increases circulation of prana and oxygen in the body. It creates heat, activates digestion, improves metabolic function, and strengthens physical vitality.
It is useful for people who have digestive problems, fatigue, low energy, fibromyalgia-like issues, poor sleep, and lack of functional power in life.
The Lower Chakras and Internal Kumbhak
Internal Kumbhak activates the lower chakras. It works on the root chakra, sacral chakra, and solar plexus.
It creates heat and activates the fire element in the body. It is similar to the benefit of Surya Bhedi because it activates sympathetic energy and metabolic function.
If external Kumbhak takes energy to the center and upper chakras, internal Kumbhak builds the body, heat, action, and vitality from below.
Prana, Warmth, Ojas, and Health
If your prana is good, you will feel warm. My hands and body are always warm because I have good prana and good ojas.
Warmth is a sign of good life force. The body should be warm, not cold.
Coldness means too much apana, stale energy, dead energy, or freeze mode. Cooling energy is different from coldness. Cooling means freshness and healing; coldness means freeze and stagnation.
Food That Supports Kundalini
Kundalini demands natural food. Fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, milk, curd, yogurt, ghee, nuts, cereals, and purified food support her movement.
Cold milk can be taken consciously in the morning after brushing and drinking water. Drink it slowly, feel it, and observe how your energy changes.
Ghee is compulsory and has no true substitute. Pure cow ghee is best for Kundalini because it lubricates the system and supports ojas.
When You Become Lighter, the Divine Flows
As you progress, everything unnecessary in the matrix has to go. Too much matter, too much furniture, too much storage, and too much heaviness become problematic after enlightenment.
When you become lighter, the divine flows in you. This is why I make my students declutter, simplify, purify, and become free from excess matter.
A lighter life supports a higher flow of Kundalini.
Left Hand, Ida, and Peaceful Healing
The left side of the body is connected to Ida Nadi, Chandra Nadi, rest and digest mode, and parasympathetic energy. When you use the left hand for healing, peaceful energy can flow.
If someone is anxious or disturbed, left-hand healing may help bring rest, calmness, and soothing energy. It sends a softer current.
Observe how people respond when you use the left hand. This is how you learn the practical difference between energy channels.
Right Hand, Activation, and Energy Movement
The right hand can be used when someone needs activation. If someone is dull, tired, or inactive, you can experiment with the right hand and observe whether the person becomes more active.
This is how you begin studying your own healing power. Try it on yourself by placing the right hand on the belly and feeling the breath, then using the left hand and noticing the difference.
Your hands are becoming instruments of energy transfer, and you must learn which hand gives which quality of healing.
Your Presence Has Power
Your mother and wife are already responding to your healing. This means your presence has power.
Start observing the impact of your presence on other people. If people become peaceful around you, it means your consciousness is reaching them.
Mind cannot make others feel this. Only consciousness can make people feel stillness, peace, and healing.
You Are Shiva, You Are Stillness
You are Shiva. You are stillness.
What everyone is missing is stillness, and stillness is power. If you can bring people to this level, that is the highest healing.
Observe more and more how your presence affects people. When you share the real impact with me, I can take you to the next level.
Increase the Duration of Kumbhak
Your next challenge is to increase the hold of Kumbhak. If you are holding for twenty seconds, increase it little by little.
Do not force violently, but push slightly like an athlete. Add two or three seconds and let the body adapt.
This push is required for power to come. Some blockages in the upper three chakras may open when the hold becomes longer.
Three Rounds in the Guru’s Presence
Do three rounds of external Kumbhak in my presence. Inhale slowly, exhale slowly, and hold after exhalation for a longer duration.
The slower the breath, the better. Do not rush inhalation or exhalation.
After the practice, notice the difference. Longer Kumbhak creates a deeper shift, and that shift tells you where your power is growing.
The Next Practice
For the coming week, experiment with your powers and do more sadhana. You can reduce the number of times you do Kumbhak, but increase the duration of each hold.
Do not focus only on the clock. Hold until the highest natural limit your body allows, and observe how the body responds.
If your immunity and vitality are high, the duration will extend. If you reach forty seconds or beyond, you are entering a high athlete-like body and a powerful connection with Kundalini.
The Core Teaching
The core teaching is that Kumbhak is not merely breath retention. It is the science of prana, stem cells, vasodilation, inflammation, chakras, respiratory centers, ojas, energy circulation, and healing power.
External Kumbhak centers consciousness and activates the upper chakras. Internal Kumbhak builds heat, metabolism, lower chakra power, and physical vitality.
The student is being trained to become a healer through knowledge, direct experience, hand energy, presence, and the deepening of Kumbhak.
When Kumbhak becomes strong, power becomes autonomous. The body, breath, prana, Kundalini, and consciousness begin working as one field.
