Background
Guru Sanju teaches Kundalini as the primordial life force that animates the human system rather than as something alien, frightening, or separate from ordinary life. She describes its nature as electrifying and uses the language of energy, nervous-system signaling, contraction, expansion, breath, posture, and the electromagnetic body to make Kundalini understandable through direct experience.
Her approach focuses on learning to recognize how life force responds to environment, conditioning, accumulated stress, trauma, attention, breathing, and everyday choices. She teaches that contraction can become an Inner GPS signal calling a person to examine what is no longer supporting life. Through conscious posture and breathing, she invites seekers to experience their energy rather than merely intellectualize Kundalini. Her essential message is that Kundalini must be demystified, embodied, and integrated so that life force can once again become the driving force toward health, movement, purpose, and conscious living.
Kundalini Is Your Life Force
Kundalini is your life force. The nature of this life force is electrifying, and when you understand Kundalini from this perspective, much of the unnecessary mystery surrounding it begins to disappear.
Kundalini is not something alien that has suddenly entered your system. It is not a foreign force attacking you from somewhere outside yourself.
It is your primordial energy, the very force of life operating within you. What changes during awakening is your relationship with this force and your sensitivity to its movement.
Stop Treating Kundalini as Something Alien
Many people become frightened during Kundalini awakening because they do not understand what they are experiencing. Strange sensations, contractions, energetic movements, emotional changes, heightened sensitivity, or nervous-system responses can make them believe that something completely foreign has taken control of them.
I want you first to remove this alienation. Instead of immediately asking, “What strange thing is happening to me?” begin asking, “What is my life force communicating through this experience?”
This shift itself changes your relationship with Kundalini.
Understand the Electrifying Nature of Life
Your body already depends upon electrical activity. Your nervous system communicates through electrochemical signaling, your heart has measurable electrical activity, and every living cell depends upon electrical gradients across its membrane.
Therefore, using electricity as a way of understanding the felt movement of life force can make Kundalini easier to approach experientially. You may feel currents, vibrations, tingling, pulsation, expansion, contraction, warmth, movement, or an unusual intensity of sensation.
Within my Kundalini framework, I teach you to observe these experiences as information from your living system rather than immediately becoming afraid of them.
You Are More Than a Solid Physical Body
The human body appears solid, but matter at the atomic level is not the compact substance that ordinary perception suggests. Your body is an extraordinarily dynamic organization of matter, electrical activity, chemical processes, biological information, and continuous energetic exchange with the environment.
I want you to stop experiencing yourself merely as a fixed object. You are a living system continuously responding to breathing, food, sleep, movement, thoughts, emotions, relationships, information, environment, and experience.
Kundalini is experienced within this living field.
Your Nervous System Conducts the Signals of Life
The nervous system is one of the primary communication networks through which your body senses, responds, adapts, and acts. It includes the central nervous system and the vast peripheral network connecting the brain and spinal cord with the rest of the body.
Within this network, the autonomic nervous system continuously participates in regulating processes that do not require your conscious command. Your body is therefore constantly receiving information and changing its state according to what it perceives internally and externally.
When I teach life force experientially, I want you to become sensitive to these changes.
Contraction Is Information
Whenever you repeatedly experience contraction, do not simply fight the contraction. Observe it.
Your breathing may become smaller, the diaphragm may feel restricted, the solar plexus may tighten, the shoulders may collapse forward, the neck may bend, or the entire body may assume a protective posture. Your system is telling you that something has changed in your internal state.
The question is: what is creating this contraction?
Your Body Responds to What It Experiences as Unsafe
The nervous system contains protective responses designed to help you survive threat. Depending upon the circumstances, your body may mobilize through fight-or-flight responses or move toward states of immobilization and shutdown.
Sometimes the threat is immediate and physical. At other times, chronic stress, overwhelming experiences, unresolved fear, exhaustion, environmental pressure, or deeply conditioned patterns may keep the body behaving as though it must continuously protect itself.
This is where life can begin feeling contracted.
Breathing Changes When Life Contracts
Observe your breathing whenever you feel unsafe, anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or emotionally contracted. You may discover that the breath becomes shallow, irregular, restricted, or concentrated high in the chest.
The diaphragm may not move with the same freedom that you experience when you are deeply relaxed. Your posture may also collapse around the solar plexus and chest as though the body is physically protecting its center.
This is why breathing becomes such an important doorway into life-force awareness.
Your Life Force Is Constantly Giving You Signals
I want you to understand your life force as an Inner GPS. Your body is continuously giving you information about expansion, contraction, vitality, exhaustion, attraction, resistance, safety, fear, excitement, and movement.
This does not mean that every sensation must be obeyed blindly. It means that sensation deserves conscious observation because it may reveal something about the state in which you are living.
Your Inner GPS becomes clearer when you learn how to listen without immediately becoming controlled by the mind.
Trauma Is Individual
No two people have lived exactly the same life. The environments you entered, the people around you, the experiences of childhood, the beliefs you absorbed, the losses you experienced, and the ways you learned to protect yourself are specific to you.
This is why contraction cannot always be understood through a generic explanation. What activates one nervous system may not activate another in the same way.
Your life force carries the history of how you learned to respond to life.
The Body May Carry What the Conscious Mind Has Forgotten
You may not consciously remember every difficult experience that shaped you. Childhood experiences can influence later emotional and behavioral patterns even when you do not spend your adult life consciously thinking about them.
The brain learns through repetition and experience. Protective patterns can therefore continue long after the original circumstances have disappeared.
Kundalini awakening may make you increasingly aware of these old contractions because your sensitivity to yourself is becoming stronger.
Conditioning Can Contract Your Life Force
Trauma is not the only source of contraction. Societal beliefs, family expectations, perfectionism, rigid standards, fear of failure, excessive self-control, and the continuous pressure to make life happen in one predetermined way can also keep you tense.
You may believe that everything must happen according to your plan. When reality moves differently, your body contracts because the conditioned mind interprets uncertainty as danger.
Kundalini begins exposing these patterns because life force wants movement.
Perfectionism Can Become a Nervous-System Burden
If you continuously demand perfection from yourself, your system never receives permission to relax into life. Every action becomes a test, every mistake becomes a threat, and every uncertain outcome becomes something that must be controlled.
You may call this discipline, but underneath it there may be fear. Your body knows the difference between inspired action and action driven by continuous internal pressure.
Life force expands more freely when you stop demanding that existence conform perfectly to the mind.
Your Information Environment Also Affects You
You are not exposed only to the events happening directly around your physical body. Through your phone and digital environment, you may consume war, violence, disasters, arguments, fear, outrage, suffering, comparison, and thousands of fragments of information from across the world.
Even when you are physically sitting safely in your room, your attention may spend hours immersed in disturbing or highly stimulating material. This continuous information load can affect stress, attention, sleep, mood, and your ability to remain connected with direct experience.
Become conscious of what you repeatedly feed into your system.
Addiction Captures Life Force
Addiction is another important area to observe because compulsive behavior captures attention and repeatedly directs energy toward the same stimulus. Whether the object is alcohol, substances, social media, endless information, sexual stimulation, entertainment, or another repetitive behavior, ask whether you still possess freedom of choice.
If you cannot stop even when you consciously want to stop, your energy has become organized around a pattern. Your life force is available, but its direction has become repetitive.
Freedom requires reclaiming that direction.
Demystifying Kundalini Changes the Journey
When you stop imagining Kundalini as a mysterious force attacking you, you can begin working with your life more intelligently. You can observe what expands you, what contracts you, what gives you vitality, and what continuously leaves you depleted.
You can examine breathing, posture, sleep, environment, relationships, work, addictions, attention, movement, emotional patterns, and the decisions you are postponing. Kundalini then becomes connected with how you actually live.
This is the Kundalini I teach.
Kundalini Must Be Experienced, Not Merely Studied
You can read hundreds of books about Kundalini and still remain disconnected from your own life force. Intellectual knowledge cannot replace the experience of feeling what is happening inside your body in the present moment.
I teach you to experience life force through breathing, attention, posture, movement, energetic awareness, and direct participation in life. You gradually develop the ability to recognize your own signals.
Knowledge becomes powerful when the body understands it.
Your Inner GPS Speaks Through Direct Experience
The simplest way to begin understanding your Inner GPS is to become present enough to feel yourself. Before searching for another explanation outside, notice what is happening here and now.
Is your chest open or contracted? Is your abdomen relaxed or rigid, is your breathing free or restricted, and does your body feel alive or frozen?
These observations bring you back from theory into experience.
Begin With Your Posture
Before changing the breath, observe the position in which you are sitting. Many people spend hours collapsed forward with the neck bent, shoulders rounded, chest compressed, and abdomen folded around the solar plexus.
This posture may develop through long periods of sitting, phone use, fatigue, emotional contraction, habit, or lack of bodily awareness. Whatever the reason, your physical position influences how freely you can breathe and how you experience yourself.
So first, reorganize the body.
Straighten the Spine Without Becoming Rigid
Sit comfortably and allow your spine to lengthen upward. Do not force the back into military stiffness; instead, create enough vertical space that the chest and abdomen are no longer collapsed into each other.
Allow the shoulders to settle naturally. Feel your sitting bones or feet supporting you so that the upper body does not have to remain tense simply to stay upright.
Let the posture communicate presence.
Lift the Neck and Open the Front of the Body
Slowly allow the neck and head to rise from the slouched position until the head feels balanced above the spine. Let the chest become more available as you move into an upright posture.
If it feels comfortable for your neck, you may gently lift the gaze slightly upward for a moment without forcing the head backward. Then return the head to a balanced, upright position.
Feel what changes simply because you have changed the way you are holding yourself.
Sit in a Confident Pose
Now remain upright. Allow the chest to be open, the shoulders relaxed, the abdomen available to the breath, and the head naturally elevated.
I call this a confident pose because your body is no longer collapsing around itself. You are giving yourself physical permission to occupy space.
Sometimes changing posture immediately changes the subjective quality of your energy.
Bring Both Hands to the Solar Plexus
Place both hands gently over the upper abdominal region around the solar plexus. Do not press hard or try to manipulate anything physically.
Use the contact of your hands to bring attention into the region. Feel the warmth of your palms, the movement beneath them, and the way the abdomen responds as you breathe.
Your attention is now returning to an area that may have remained unconsciously contracted.
The Solar Plexus Is a Powerful Meeting Point
The upper abdomen contains an extensive network of nerves associated with the celiac plexus, and this region is closely surrounded by organs involved in digestion and other essential bodily processes. Subjectively, people also frequently experience fear, confidence, tension, excitement, and vulnerability strongly in this area.
Within my energetic framework, the solar plexus is deeply connected with personal power, action, confidence, direction, and the movement of life force. When this region feels chronically contracted, the entire person can subjectively feel held back.
This is why I want you to become conscious of it.
Use the Exhalation to Release the Hold
With your hands resting gently over the solar plexus, allow an easy inhalation to enter through the nose. Then exhale slowly through the mouth.
Do not attack the contraction with force. Let the exhalation soften the jaw, chest, diaphragm, abdomen, and shoulders while your attention remains with the body.
Allow the next inhalation to arise naturally and repeat the process.
Practice Ten to Twenty-One Conscious Rounds
Begin with approximately ten comfortable rounds. If the breathing remains easy and you feel stable, you may gradually continue toward fifteen or twenty-one rounds.
Each round should remain conscious. Feel the inhalation, feel the mouth exhalation, feel the movement beneath your hands, and notice whether the body begins releasing unnecessary tension.
The number is secondary to the quality of your awareness.
Feel What Happens After the Practice
When you finish, do not immediately move. Keep the spine comfortable, release the hands, and allow your breathing to return completely to its natural rhythm.
Observe your chest, solar plexus, abdomen, face, head, hands, heartbeat, and overall state. You may experience warmth, tingling, openness, relaxation, increased alertness, emotional movement, or simply a subtle shift in how you inhabit your body.
This observation is where experiential learning begins.
Experience Life Force Without Chasing Sensations
If you feel something moving like a current, vibration, pulse, warmth, or electrical sensation, observe it. Within Kundalini practice, I teach you to become familiar with these sensations without immediately becoming frightened by them.
At the same time, you do not need to manufacture sensations to prove that your Kundalini is active. The objective is awareness, not spiritual performance.
Your life force is already present because you are alive.
Posture Can Change Your State
Notice the difference between collapsing around the abdomen and sitting with greater vertical openness. Your breathing mechanics, muscular activity, visual orientation, and subjective sense of confidence can all change with posture.
This is why I repeatedly bring students back to the body. Sometimes the mind is trying to solve a problem that the body is continuously reinforcing through the way it is being held.
Change the physical pattern and observe what becomes possible.
Your Breath Is the Simplest Doorway
You do not need an extraordinary mystical experience to begin understanding life force. Start with one breath.
Breathing is happening every moment of your life, but most of the time you are not consciously connected with it. The moment attention returns to breathing, you begin reconnecting consciousness with the living body.
This is why breath is one of my primary tools for demystifying Kundalini.
Life Force Wants Movement
When you repeatedly feel that your life is on hold, do not examine only the symptom. Examine the life surrounding the symptom.
Where have you stopped moving, what are you tolerating, what repeatedly contracts you, what decision are you postponing, what environment is draining you, and what habit has become stronger than your conscious choice?
Your life force may be asking for movement in areas far beyond meditation.
Your Environment Participates in Your Energy
Pay attention to what happens to your body in different environments. Some spaces allow you to breathe more freely, while others immediately create tension, vigilance, exhaustion, or contraction.
Observe the same thing around people, work situations, digital environments, and daily routines. Your response does not automatically prove that something outside you is objectively dangerous, but it gives you information worth examining.
Your Inner GPS becomes useful when observation is combined with discernment.
Do Not Reduce Every Symptom to Kundalini
Kundalini awakening can coexist with physical illness, neurological conditions, psychiatric conditions, trauma-related symptoms, hormonal changes, nutritional problems, sleep disorders, medication effects, and many other health issues. Conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dementia, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, IBS, severe anxiety, or persistent neurological symptoms require appropriate professional medical or mental-health assessment.
Spiritual interpretation should not replace healthcare or become a reason to discontinue prescribed treatment. Kundalini guidance can explore the spiritual and experiential dimension of what you are going through while qualified professionals evaluate conditions that require clinical diagnosis and treatment.
Your life force deserves both consciousness and responsible care.
Diagnosis Requires Discernment
When I work with a person, I read the individual through the energetic framework I have developed from my own experience with Kundalini. I look at where I perceive contraction, movement, blockage, and energetic patterns and then determine what kind of practice may help that person explore their state.
This energetic reading is part of my spiritual work and should not be confused with a medical diagnosis. A psychiatric or neurological diagnosis belongs to qualified healthcare professionals.
The two domains should not be carelessly mixed.
Your Kundalini Journey Is Specific to You
Your trauma is specific to you. Your childhood, relationships, conditioning, environment, fears, desires, habits, body, nervous system, and life decisions have created an individual pattern that cannot be completely understood through somebody else’s awakening story.
This is why copying another person’s Kundalini journey often creates more confusion. What they needed to release may not be what you need to release.
Learn to experience your own system.
Demystification Gives You Back Your Power
The more mysterious you make Kundalini, the more helpless you may feel in front of it. You begin waiting for somebody to explain every sensation and predict every stage of your awakening.
I want you to develop experiential intelligence instead. Learn how your energy responds to breathing, posture, movement, environment, relationships, information, rest, action, nourishment, emotional expression, and conscious decision-making.
Then Kundalini stops feeling like an alien force and begins becoming your own life force again.
Your Inner GPS Is Always Communicating
Your Inner GPS does not necessarily speak through words. Sometimes it speaks through expansion and contraction, vitality and exhaustion, attraction and resistance, excitement and heaviness, clarity and confusion.
The more conscious you become, the more accurately you can investigate these signals without blindly obeying them. Feeling becomes information, and consciousness becomes the intelligence that interprets that information.
This is how life force can begin guiding your movement.
Use Life Force to Move Toward Your Purpose
Your life force is not given merely so that you can sit and analyze energy. It is the driving force through which you move, create, love, work, explore, build, express, decide, and fulfill what you are here to experience.
When your energy remains chronically contracted, your life can begin shrinking around that contraction. When energy begins opening, you gain more capacity to participate.
Kundalini must eventually move into life purpose.
Make Kundalini Practical
Stop asking only whether your Kundalini is awakened. Ask what you are doing with the life force that is already available to you.
Are you breathing consciously, are you caring for your body, are you protecting your attention, are you releasing destructive addictions, are you moving toward healthier environments, and are you taking the actions your life requires?
These questions bring Kundalini out of abstraction and into daily reality.
Activate Your Life and Make It Move
If your life feels frozen, begin with something simple. Straighten your posture, open the front of the body, place your hands over the solar plexus, breathe consciously, and feel yourself from inside.
Then take that awareness into action. Change what repeatedly contracts you, seek appropriate help for conditions that require it, and begin participating consciously in the life that is already moving through you.
Kundalini is not alien to you. Kundalini is your life force, and the purpose of understanding your life force is to become capable of living your life with greater consciousness, vitality, movement, and power.
