Part of my Kundalini and Enlightenment guide · Teachings by Guru Sanju
Background
Guru Sanju teaches that Kundalini awakening is only the beginning of spiritual evolution. The real challenge begins after a seeker experiences freedom, because the ego quietly attempts to reclaim control through ambition, desire, success, and unconscious living. Through her Energetic Mastery Method, she guides seekers to remain established in consciousness while navigating career, business, relationships, and worldly responsibilities. In this discourse, she explains how the awakened seeker must recognize the subtle traps of the ego, strengthen consciousness through disciplined practice, and allow Kundalini to reveal the soul’s true purpose instead of returning to the old patterns of the matrix.
Freedom Is Only the First Stage
When you first taste inner freedom, you naturally feel lighter, happier, and more alive. The suffering that once dominated your life begins to dissolve, and you experience the joy of living from consciousness instead of fear. This is a beautiful beginning, but it is not the destination.
Do not assume that because suffering has reduced, the journey is complete. Real transformation begins when you learn to remain conscious while creating your new life.
Create Life Without Losing Yourself
Once major suffering disappears, life enters a different phase. You begin exploring work, business, creativity, relationships, travel, and new possibilities. The responsibility gradually shifts from the Guru to you. Your task is no longer escaping pain but learning how to live consciously every day.
You become the captain of your own ship. Every decision now reflects the quality of your consciousness rather than the intensity of your suffering.
Consciousness Must Remain the Center
You have already discovered individual consciousness. You know what it feels like to return to your center. Yet there is a higher possibility beyond this—the experience of universal consciousness, where individuality dissolves into something much greater.
This cannot be forced through effort. Kundalini reveals it when the seeker becomes ready. Until then, your responsibility is simple: remain centered and do not fall back into unconscious living.
External Kumbhak Brings You Home
Whenever you feel scattered, perform external kumbhak. Inhale gently through the nose, exhale completely through the mouth while emptying the abdomen, and comfortably retain the breath after exhalation before allowing natural inhalation.
This practice immediately gathers attention at the center. The brain becomes clearer, the vagus nerve activates, mental fog reduces, and awareness naturally returns to consciousness. Kundalini rises toward the head, allowing you to experience integration instead of fragmentation.
Every round reminds you who you really are beyond the mind.
The Ego Returns Quietly
Never imagine that the ego disappears permanently. It returns silently through the back door. It rarely presents itself as something harmful. Instead, it disguises itself as urgency, ambition, necessity, productivity, responsibility, or success.
The ego will convince you that endless achievement is essential for your happiness. If you remain unconscious, you will believe every thought it presents.
Needs and Desires Are Different
Your soul has simple needs: nourishing food, shelter, meaningful work, love, movement, peace, and conscious living. The ego continuously expands these into endless desires.
It tells you to earn more, possess more, become more important, create more status, accumulate more achievements, and constantly compare yourself with others. What appears to be progress slowly becomes another prison.
Observe whether your actions arise from genuine need or from restless desire.
Success Can Become a Trap
Business, freelancing, financial growth, and creative work are not problems. The problem begins when they become your identity. If success causes you to forget consciousness, then success itself becomes bondage.
Create wealth consciously. Build meaningful work consciously. Expand your abilities consciously. There is no conflict between spiritual growth and worldly action as long as consciousness remains at the center.
The Soul Has a Greater Purpose
Your career may provide income, but it does not necessarily fulfill your soul’s purpose. Kundalini continuously pushes you toward your deeper mission. It invites you to create something that genuinely contributes to humanity.
This requires learning new skills, exploring unfamiliar directions, investing in yourself, and allowing your life to evolve naturally instead of remaining trapped in old identities.
The soul never settles for mere survival.
Alexander the Great and the Ego
The ego behaves like Alexander the Great conquering one kingdom after another without caring for the kingdoms already won. It constantly seeks the next achievement while neglecting what has already been created.
One project leads to another, then another opportunity, another ambition, another goal. Eventually, life becomes endless expansion without inner fulfillment. Consciousness teaches you to manage what already exists before chasing what does not.
The Matrix Always Offers New Illusions
The world continuously presents attractive possibilities. Some are useful; many are distractions. Glamour, luxury, recognition, comparison, social approval, and endless consumption quietly compete for your attention.
The matrix does not imprison you by force. It seduces you through attractive alternatives. Only awareness reveals whether you are choosing freely or merely reacting to unconscious programming.
Consciousness Before Comfort
There is nothing wrong with enjoying comfort, beauty, travel, relationships, or success. The question is simple: from which space are you living? Are you acting from consciousness or from unconscious craving?
When consciousness leads, every experience becomes enriching. When the ego leads, even abundance eventually creates dissatisfaction.
Strengthen Your Inner Foundation
Invest in practices that strengthen consciousness rather than merely increasing information. Continue your breathwork, meditation, self-observation, learning, and conscious action. Develop abilities that allow your soul to express itself more completely.
Growth is not measured only by income or achievement. It is measured by the depth of awareness you carry into every action.
Travel the Ocean Alone
There comes a stage where the Guru intentionally allows the student to travel independently. The Guru does not abandon the seeker. The Guru trusts the seeker’s consciousness enough to allow direct experience.
Imagine yourself rowing a small boat across a vast ocean. The Guru waits at the destination, but the journey across the water belongs to you. Every wave, every storm, and every decision strengthens your own consciousness.
Return Whenever You Lose the Center
Whenever confusion increases, thoughts become overwhelming, or consciousness begins fading, return immediately to your practices. One conscious exhalation can restore the center more effectively than hours of unconscious effort.
The purpose of every technique is not performance. The purpose is remembrance. You are remembering your true nature again and again until it becomes permanent.
Live With Consciousness
Your future contains many opportunities, achievements, relationships, and discoveries. Participate in them fully, but never sacrifice consciousness in exchange for success. Let every decision emerge from presence rather than fear.
When Kundalini leads your life, the matrix no longer controls you. You participate in the world without becoming imprisoned by it. This is real freedom—the freedom to live completely while remaining established in consciousness.
