Background
In this discourse, Guru Sanju guides her student into real-time healing through Kumbhak, barefoot grounding, dog healing, conscious cooking, and decluttering. She shows that the brain heals not by worrying, but by becoming present with life.
She teaches that trauma has distorted the student’s nervous system and cognitive function, but this is not a problem. Through simple physical actions done with presence, the brain can relearn how to function.
The transformation offered is from anxiety and mental confusion to embodied presence. Guru Sanju makes the student walk barefoot on grass, feel the air, connect with her dog, cook consciously, and clean her space with mouth exhalation.
This teaching matters because it shows that healing is not only meditation. Healing happens when life is felt directly through the feet, hands, breath, senses, body, nature, animals, food, and surroundings.
Accept the State and Begin Healing
Yes, not a problem. You will learn how to live like this. You only need to accept it more, and as you accept it, you dissolve more.
You will learn how to live without identifying with yourself. Your brain will heal because your brain has issues, and that is why I am teaching you each technique carefully.
All the methods I am giving you are toward integration of energy. In so many years of trauma, your brain has deteriorated, so now you need to learn again.
Kumbhak Before Action
Before starting any activity, sit somewhere and do external Kumbhak. Inhale, exhale, and after exhalation, hold the breath.
Do this ten times with full presence and awareness. Do not do it mechanically. If possible, keep the hold for a little longer and slowly increase the duration.
This prepares the brain and nervous system to become present before action. When the brain is scattered, Kumbhak brings it back to the center.
Healing Through the Dog
You have such a lovely dog, and you can heal him. When you connect with him, do it with both hands and touch him with loving presence.
Let him hear my voice and let your hands become free. When you touch the heart region with both hands, healing begins through your presence.
If he wants to play, let him play. Do not control him. You are learning healing through connection, trust, touch, and presence.
Barefoot Grounding on Grass
Remove your slippers and walk barefoot on the grass. Feel the grass touching your feet and enjoy the direct contact with the Earth.
This will ground your inflammatory energies and help your brain heal faster. I did not know you had such a lovely place, otherwise I would have given this earlier also.
Walk every day barefoot on grass. Keep doing mouth exhalation while walking and feel how the body responds.
Feel Life Through the Senses
Withdraw attention from me and focus on how you are feeling. Your nervous system is distorted, so you need to make it feel life in the present more and more.
Feel the touch of grass on your feet. Smell the air. Feel the breeze around you. See the greenery and notice the leaves moving in the wind.
Worrying will not heal you. You have to be present with the healing for healing to happen in you.
Thirty Days to Begin Recovery
Give yourself thirty days. In thirty days, you will recover a little bit, and then you can give yourself another thirty days.
Like this, give yourself at least one hundred days for recovery. Healing will not happen through tension. Healing will happen through presence, practice, and real life.
Do not sit idle and think. Whenever gaps come and you think too much, go into nature, sit in the garden, walk barefoot, and breathe.
Cooking With Presence
Now start whatever you planned to cook, but be present to the act. Cut the vegetables with full awareness and feel everything completely.
Do not pay attention to me. Be involved in the act itself. Train your brain to remember things when they are required.
Do one step at a time. Do not move to the next step until the present step is complete. Keep doing mouth exhalation and stay with the activity.
Presence Is the Real Practice
The way you cooked now, you have to do every activity with this much presence. When you do this, you will feel that you are always present.
You do not have to worry whether you are present or absent. Whenever you are doing anything, just become present like this.
Before any activity, do Kumbhak. Then do the activity with mouth exhalation and full attention.
Use Pen and Paper
Write down the activities you need to do every day. Use pen and paper, not only your mind or phone.
When things remain in the mind, they create confusion. When they are written on paper, the brain gets clarity.
Make a list and start doing one thing at a time. This will train your cognitive function and reduce the mental load.
Decluttering the Space
Choose one corner of the room and begin decluttering. Move things one by one and place them differently.
Lift each object, feel where it belongs, and decide whether it should stay, be arranged, or be thrown away. Keep doing mouth exhalation while moving things.
Change the placement, clean the surface, dust the space, and make the place fresh. This is not only cleaning the table; this is cleaning your energy field.
Decluttering as Brain Healing
As you move objects, your brain starts functioning differently. You create space outside and space inside.
Even your dog becomes curious because your energy is moving. Life responds when you begin moving consciously.
Every day, devote at least two hours to decluttering. Sell old books, clear old things, and create a fresh environment for your new self.
The Core Teaching
The core teaching is that your brain heals when you stop worrying and start feeling life. Kumbhak, mouth exhalation, barefoot grounding, dog healing, conscious cooking, and decluttering bring your nervous system back to the present.
You do not need to fix everything in one day. You need thirty days, then another thirty days, and at least one hundred days of consistent recovery.
Healing happens through real action. Feel the grass, touch life, cook slowly, clean consciously, breathe through the mouth, and let your brain learn how to live again.
