How can you become a smart and an intelligent man? You can become smart and an intelligent man by making the optimum utilization of your available time, money, and energy. When you tap into the power of your consciousness, you are able to use the intelligence of the consciousness to know how you can best utilize your available time on this planet, how you can make the optimum utilization of the money you have, and also how to invest your energy in such a way that you become the wealthiest.
When you outsource your life to the mind, you become poor in all areas of your life. The mind formed in you is the collection of the limited beliefs, conditioning, and knowledge about how to live life. Life cannot be lived with the direction and instructions of the mind. The best life can be lived when you are following your Inner GPS, which is the intelligence itself working in you, guiding you at different times how to be with yourself and not follow the beliefs of the society to take a decision. You are a fool if you use the mind to take the important decisions of your life.
For example, you need to do a job to earn a living. This is a belief. There is no compulsion that you need to do a job to earn a living. To earn a living, there are multiple ways which you can create in this world by adding value in different forms. There are many direct and indirect ways to earn money, and there are many people who are living a free life living this way.
But if you are a fool, then you follow the advice of the so-called experts in your life—your family, friends, or relatives—who want you to be a clone of the society, and they get the benefit from you for which they have advised you. If you start living a free life different from them, after a certain time, there is a possibility you won’t be accessible to them for their needs. As a result, you are made handicapped by creating a mind which contains the limiting factors, and it does not allow you to do anything out of the box.
The mind does not allow you to take the risk and become a smart and intelligent man who can independently live this life on this planet by exploring new possibilities, by doing new things, by going to unexplored territories, and by creating something which is unique to him.
If you are in the hands of the mind, if you are following what the mind says, then you end up doing activities and investing your valuable time, money, and energy in the things which the society is investing. For example, you do not need a car to travel to a place; you can outsource cab services to go to a place. But the “shoulds” of society and the people you spend time with think that you should have a car. You buy a car even if you cannot afford it and keep on paying the EMI for it for years until you get the ownership of the car when you are tired of paying the EMIs.
If you are intelligent, then you will calculate the exact monetary value invested in buying a car and, opposed to that, how you get value if you hire a car for the number of visits you may take for any destination for your work. Likewise, you should get married. These are some common examples of what a fool person does by listening to the “shoulds” of the society.
You need to get married when it is in your destiny, when your Inner GPS says that you need a partner to live your life with her. But if you are marrying at a certain age, at a certain time of your life, by listening to the “shoulds” of society, then you are not a smart man. You invest all the earnings and the savings into your marriage ceremony and also get burdened by the financial responsibility of being in a family or running a family after marriage.
It is an individual choice whether to marry or not to marry, when to marry, with whom to marry, and if you can take decisions based on your individual needs, based on when you feel—when your Inner GPS says—what is the right time for you to have a partner, then you are an intelligent man.
After marriage, the next “should” comes about kids. You should have kids to make a family. Before you give birth to a child, calculate the volume of energy, time, and money that child is going to take from your life to live on this planet. It appears scary when you actually calculate only the financial aspect of upbringing a child. There is no harm in giving birth to a child, but if you are unprepared, then you are not only fooling yourself but also fooling others just to show off that you have a complete family.
A child will demand your full-time attention, your precious time of life, and your money to survive on this planet, and it will come with its own data bank of desires and dreams. If you are ready and prepared for it, then go for it. This is smartness. If you are equipped enough to bear the expenses or the investment in a child. But if you are not prepared and you are finding it difficult to manage your personal expenses or the expenses of your family and the members who are present now, then think multiple times before you take a decision to give birth to a child.
You can become smart and intelligent by envisaging the impact of your personal time, money, and energy in every activity you do from the moment you wake up in the morning till the time you go to bed. If you can manage your personal time, money, and energy in a way which is productive and most efficient for you, then include something else or some person in your life who will share your part of life which is so valuable that you are ready to share your life’s precious moment with others or the other person.
By continuously accessing your consciousness, by looking into the pros and cons of every situation, not listening to the mind or what the mind thinks, what your mind has previously shown you, acting fully in the present with the power and intelligence of the consciousness, you can become smart and intelligent over a period of time.
