The Dangerous Dance Between Fake Gurus and Ignorant Seekers
Fake Gurus and the fools who follow them feed on each other’s energy. It is a cycle of ignorance and exploitation, a toxic dance that pulls both deeper into darkness. Kundalini awakening is meant to liberate you from ignorance, but when you take refuge in self-proclaimed Gurus, your ignorance does not dissolve — it evolves into a more sophisticated form.
Instead of moving closer to truth, you move further into illusion. Instead of rising into wisdom, you sink deeper into delusion. These so-called Gurus are not Enlightened Siddhas with spiritual powers or Siddhis. They are pretenders, masters of deception, who exploit your vulnerability during one of the most fragile and transformative phases of your life.
Again and again, I receive heartbreaking cases.
A Real Case of Misguided Suffering
One person wrote to me:
“Guru, please help me. I am in grave suffering. Had a very bad experience of 8.5 years post-awakening… Met a Guru and things have turned out worse than before… lost my job, finances… went too far ahead with alcohol and tobacco, as it was approved by him.”
Pause and reflect on this. With whatever level of intelligence you carry, ask yourself — which true Guru in the world would encourage addiction to alcohol and tobacco and call it a way to process Kundalini? Which enlightened being would guide you into poison and convince you that destruction is the path to liberation?
There is a solution for ignorance: the light of wisdom from a true Guru can dissolve the darkness of misunderstanding. But there is no solution for stupidity.
Ignorance is curable when you are humble and open. Stupidity is incurable when you close your eyes and hand over your power blindly.
The Cost of Blind Following
The small part of your mind that carries discrimination, the subtle intelligence that allows you to discern truth from falsehood, is the very first thing you lose when you surrender to fake Gurus.
Instead of awakening discrimination, you suppress it. Instead of exercising free will, you outsource it. And in that very moment, you become the prey.
Fake Gurus thrive on your attention. They manipulate you, charm you, and keep you under their spell until they have robbed you of your time, money, and energy.
And you allow it because you refuse to think for yourself.
You must learn to use your discriminating power of consciousness. You must ask yourself: Does this path truly feel right to my soul? Not to your desire, not to your addiction, not to your fantasy — but to your soul.
If drinking alcohol and smoking tobacco give you your idea of a “high,” then by all means indulge more — and move faster towards death. But do not pretend it is spiritual progress.
Beyond Addictions: The Worse Cases I Encounter
It is not only about tobacco and alcohol. Many cases I receive are even darker.
- Blind religious practices are imposed, creating fear and doubt about Kundalini while encouraging faith in negative or evil energies.
- Cult rituals drain life energy through meaningless mantras, crystal obsessions, or distorted beliefs.
- Disciples are trapped in large organizations where the powerful Siddha who started the lineage is no longer alive. What remains is an institution, run by managers and followers. And you, the seeker, become a lost soul in a sea of millions, unnoticed, unseen, unheard.
Kundalini has not awakened you to become a sheep in the herd. It has awakened you to stand as an individual, to rise like a phoenix from the ashes of conditioning, to claim responsibility for your life.
The Fundamental Wisdom of Kundalini Awakening
When Kundalini awakens, there is one fundamental truth you must never forget:
A true Guru is a Siddha with mastery over Kundalini. Without Kundalini, there is no authentic awakening. Without Kundalini, there are no genuine spiritual powers.
Think about your everyday life. When you buy a product for personal use, you research its quality, its price, its specifications. You compare options before investing.
So why, when it comes to choosing a Guru, do you not apply the same discrimination? Why do you hand over your life, energy, and soul without inquiry?
If you fail to research, Kundalini punishes you. And the punishment is harsh: years of wasted life, drained finances, lost health, broken relationships, and shattered trust. Nobody can save you from such stupidity.
The Ego Trap of Wrong Choices
The danger does not end there. Once you have invested your time, money, and energy in fake Gurus, another trap forms. You rationalize your mistake. You create an ego around your choices.
Instead of admitting you were wrong, you defend the very practices that harmed you. You cling to the fake because admitting the truth feels unbearable.
This is the prison of ego: you identify with the false because you cannot face your own foolishness. And the deeper you cling, the more you become enslaved.
But unless you break your ego, you will never break free from the grip of fake Gurus.
The Student’s Responsibility
I hope this discourse serves as an eye-opener. May it help you realize your mistakes and inspire you to begin your real homework: to seek, research, and discover the true Guru.
But remember — a Guru cannot be found merely through search. A Guru arrives only when you, the student, are prepared.
Everyone speaks about the Guru. Few speak about the student. Yet the truth is this: your eligibility as a student matters more than anything else.
What have you contributed? How have you purified yourself? What efforts have you made to raise your consciousness, to cleanse your mind, to discipline your body, to cultivate sincerity?
A true Guru appears when the student is pure, committed, and ready.
When the student is ready — the Guru appears.
When the student is stupid — the Guru never arrives.
A Call to Responsibility
So all the best for your journey. If this life does not bring the Guru to you, perhaps in another life, your turn will come. But it will come only when your eligibility has ripened, when you have raised your standards, when you have truly prepared yourself to be a great student.
Kundalini has not awakened you to throw your life into the hands of pretenders. It has awakened you to demand the highest, to refuse mediocrity, to rise beyond sheep mentality, to take ownership of your destiny.
Until you accept this responsibility, you will wander from one fake Guru to another, circling endlessly in illusion.
And until then, nobody — not even Kundalini itself — can save you from your stupidity.
