Healing Nausea, Freeze Response & Breath Capacity in Cold Environments

Background

In this session, I, Guru Sanju, worked with a highly sensitive student who is recovering from schizophrenia and experiencing intense nausea, vomiting tendencies, dizziness, and breathing difficulties—especially while working inside a cold studio environment with the AC running. Her nervous system frequently slips into a freeze response due to past trauma, environmental triggers, and prolonged instability.

Over the years of guiding thousands of individuals with severe mental-emotional dysregulation, I have seen that nausea, choking sensations, vomiting tendencies, and sudden breathlessness are not random symptoms—they are profound messages from the nervous system, indicating overload, fear memory activation, and collapse of pranic flow.

This session was designed to stabilize her body through two pillars: immediate relief for nausea using natural taste-bud activation remedies, and strengthening her breathing capacity through external exhalation and breath-hold techniques. My intention was to give her simple, home-based tools that calm the sympathetic activation, bring her out of freeze mode, and help her function through long work hours without fear.

Opening

“Hello? Sleepy and tired? Yes. Alright. So what is your question? Why have you taken this session? To cry? To cry in front of me?”

I allowed her to acknowledge her emotional exhaustion, her tears, and the helplessness she was carrying.

Asking for Ingredients

I asked her whether she had lemon at home. When she confirmed, I guided her step by step.

Preparing the First Remedy

She took lemon, black pepper, black salt, and a glass of water.

I instructed her:

  • Cut the lemon and squeeze half into a glass.
  • Add a pinch of black salt and a pinch of black pepper.
  • Add one glass of water.
  • Add a little sugar.
  • Mix everything completely.

When she smelled it and drank it, I reassured her that the nauseating and vomiting feeling would slowly reduce. I told her she could dilute it further if it felt too tangy and could drink more water afterward.

This drink could be taken 3–4 times a day in small amounts. Not heavy quantity—just frequent small sips.

Preparing the Ginger Activation Formula

Next, I asked her to bring ginger. She grated it and placed it in a small bowl.

I guided her through the exact mixture:

  • Add ginger pieces (grated or cut).
  • Add a little sugar.
  • Add lemon.
  • Add a pinch of black pepper.
  • Add black salt.
  • Optionally add asafetida (hing) if available, or another digestion-enhancing ingredient I would later share.

Then I told her to sprinkle a little water and mix.

This mixture had to be eaten spoon by spoon, slowly, and very consciously.

I told her the main secret:
She must taste it completely, mix it with saliva, and then swallow.
This activates the taste buds and tells the brain that food is safe.
The vomiting tendency lessens because the nervous system exits the freeze mode and re-enters sympathetic activation in a healthy way.

Once she began tasting, she reported immediate relief.

Explaining the Nervous System’s Role

I informed her:

“The nauseating feeling is your brain responding to the freeze mode. The sympathetic mode becomes activated because of the thought of going to work and repeating past patterns. Slowly we will change your nervous system response.”

Questions About Her Workspace

We discussed candles and flowers at her workplace. If it grounded her, she could keep them—provided the workplace allowed it.

I then guided her on keeping a green indoor plant at her desk if possible, to reduce stress in the cold AC environment.

Breathwork: External Exhalation & Breath Hold

I taught her the external Kumbhak technique to improve breath capacity in cold environments.

I guided her:

  1. Exhale completely from the mouth.
  2. Empty the belly.
  3. Hold the breath.
  4. Start with 3–5 seconds.
  5. Slowly increase duration over days.
  6. Inhale naturally; focus only on exhalation.

I explained that this increases breathing immunity and stabilizes the system even when the air feels short.

We practiced together.

Session Integration

I told her she could take one session every week, or whenever she faces challenges. Not for attention—but for practical issues. For at least a month, I would support her consistently.

“Do not feel fearful. This is neural pathway training. Slowly you will adjust.”

Closing the Session

She asked about her one-year work agreement. I told her to sign it. Stability is crucial—physically, financially, and emotionally—because her treatment depends on consistent income.

We ended the session peacefully.

I explained:

“This is a very critical case of schizophrenia. Today I addressed her vomiting tendency, the nauseating feeling she has been suffering for the last 2–3 days. The natural ginger-lemon-salt-pepper mixture will help her. The black salt–black pepper–lemon water mixture will also help her heal.

The second part of the session was breathwork—external exhalation techniques—to increase her breathing capacity in a cold studio with AC.
