Kundalini and the Power of Negative Ions in Moving Wind and Primitive Joy

Background

In this episode, I, Siddha Guru Sanju, continue the journey through the living science of Kundalini and Negative Ions. This discourse was filmed in a natural forest canopy where I was deeply immersed in observing the behavior of monkeys—our primitive ancestors—and how they reflect the instinctive, unconditioned joy of life. Amid this wilderness, I share how the moving wind, negative ions, and untouched nature influence the subtle energies of the Kundalini system. The teaching expands on earlier discourses about grounding, air, and elemental balance, focusing now on how wind, motion, and primal life restore the body’s bio-electrical harmony. It is a living demonstration of how primitive movement, nature’s breeze, and oxygen-rich air affect the body’s energy circuits, purify inflammation, and awaken higher awareness through direct communion with life itself.

The Presence of Monkeys and the Living Jungle

As I said, monkeys follow me. They are here again, climbing, calling, and observing. I can feel that more will come. This forest is their home, and they move freely—unafraid and alive. Their energy mirrors the natural spontaneity of life before civilization trapped us in rigid patterns.

Here, I will share what happened when I sat on this wooden swing surrounded by trees and what is the importance of moving wind in absorbing negative ions.

The Wind and the Science of Cooling

Moving wind carries negative ions. That is why the presence of wind brings a cooling effect to the body and mind. Negative oxygen ions, when carried through the air, enter your lungs and skin, creating a sense of freshness and lightness. As the breeze touches your body, it infuses cooling prana, soothing the heat created by Kundalini’s internal fire.

For example, when you stand at the seashore, two effects happen simultaneously. First, the impact of water molecules crashing against rocks creates a surge of negative ions in the environment, and when that spray touches your face, you feel a natural cooling and clarity. Second, the continuous flow of sea breeze carries these ions further inland, magnifying their refreshing power.

Silence and the Universal Energy

At one point, I went into silence. Something powerful shifted within me—the universal energy began to unite in me, through me. It was not just wind anymore; it was the movement of life itself. The stillness of this forest, the swing beneath the trees, and the whispers of the wind—all became one pulsation of existence.

This teaching is meant for advanced seekers, for those who have walked long with the Kundalini fire and are struggling to neutralize the inflammation it brings. The wind, the ions, the natural coolness—these are not external remedies but energetic medicines.

Understanding Negative Ions and Humidity

If you have not watched or read the earlier teachings, know that negative ions help balance the fire of Kundalini by reducing internal inflammation. When you are in a humid environment and the wind starts to move, you immediately feel a shift. I felt it here—the breath of fresh air changed everything inside me.

That is why I travel to different places—to discover and document the high negative-ion zones of Earth. Right now, I am sitting beneath a canopy of trees. Look at this place: the dense cover of leaves, the wild silence, the absence of human habitation. Wherever the forest canopy is thick, there you will find an abundance of negative ions.

The Jungle Effect and Primal Energy

This jungle is wild and ancient. Its energy is untouched—non-diluted by human interference. The air feels heavier with vitality. The moment I enter such places, Kundalini begins to move differently within my spine. It dances, rises, and flows in unpredictable ways. The wilderness stirs something deep, reminding me that our consciousness is not separate from nature’s primal intelligence.

When you walk through such a place, you can feel the energy vibrating along the spinal channel. Each breath becomes a communion.

The Biological Science: Vasodilation and Breath

What actually happens when you absorb negative ions? The process leads to vasodilation. When carbon dioxide builds up in your body, your blood vessels constrict. When oxygen-rich negative ions enter, they help open these vessels, improving blood circulation.

However, oxygen absorption alone is not enough. You must also release the trapped carbon dioxide through proper mouth exhalation. This dual action—release and absorb—is essential. Without it, blood flow remains sluggish, and Kundalini fire cannot circulate evenly through your energy system.

If you live in an urban setting surrounded by electronics and air conditioners, your environment is charged with positive ions—the depleted form of energy. These devices emit ions that lack electrons, draining your pranic system and inflaming your nervous network.

The Cost of Closed Spaces

Why do you feel tired or suffocated in closed rooms? Because of the excess of positive ions and stagnant carbon dioxide. The moment you open the window and allow the wind to enter, you feel instant relief. That freshness is not imaginary—it is your body responding to negative ions.

So, open your windows. Step out every morning and breathe consciously. Even in the city, nature still finds small openings to reach you.

You can also fill your living space with indoor plants. Plants naturally release negative ions and purify the air. If you live in an artificial environment, an ionizing air purifier can also support this process by neutralizing bacteria and microbes.

The Primitive Instinct and Joy of Climbing

As I was speaking, my instinctive brain wanted to climb the swing, and I did. Because anything adventurous—anything that awakens your primal nature—is a new frequency. I stood up high, feeling alive, not bound by routine movement. Such spontaneous movement reconnects us to the primitive intelligence of the body.

So yes, I climbed and laughed. This is life. Spirituality must not be confined to still meditation alone; it must include the pulse of life—the playfulness, the unpredictability.

Releasing Tech Overload and Reconnecting

You should observe how much time you spend around electronic devices. Every thirty minutes, step outside. Let your nervous system reset. This simple act rejuvenates your Kundalini process more than any theoretical practice.

Many awakened people complain that they lack prana or energy for their sadhana. The reason is simple: they are focusing on Kundalini but not feeding Kundalini. She requires fuel—oxygen, negative ions, prana—to continue transforming the system.

If your cells do not produce energy, how will Kundalini rise? Cellular energy transforms into ojas, and when ojas burns, it creates prana. Kundalini draws from this prana to expand through the nadis.

A Practice for Everyday Life

Take breaks, go outdoors, feel the air. Then notice the difference between sitting in an enclosed room and being in a park. Next, visit a village and observe how the body relaxes. The energy of the countryside, the slow rhythm of wind and earth, nourishes your subtle body in ways that the urban environment cannot.

Then go higher—to the mountains, the forests, the rivers, the waterfalls. Each carries a unique frequency of negative ions. Especially around coniferous or alpine forests, the air feels electric with vitality.

In contrast, in populated areas with pollution, negative ions become scarce. Human activity, smoke, and synthetic materials strip the atmosphere of electrons. This deficiency leads to emotional exhaustion, anxiety, and restlessness.

Morning Reward and the Coconut

As I stood here, feeling the morning breeze, the monkeys returned. One of them dropped a coconut from the tree, cracking it open. Water spilled out—the offering of nature. They drank what they wanted and left the rest. This sight made me smile. Life is giving continuously.

The joy that rises from such a moment is not intellectual. It is felt—pure, instinctive.

Rediscovering Our Primitive Nature

We are monkeys too, though we have forgotten. Civilization has made us forget the rhythm of our own bodies. The more you return to primal movement—climbing, jumping, walking barefoot—the more your energy resets to its original frequency. That is why animals are always grounded and peaceful; they are in direct exchange with nature’s negative ions.

We, however, have built concrete jungles that block this exchange. Our artificial environments have taken away the freedom to breathe the living air.

The Earth as the Great Supplier

Earth herself supplies immense negative ions, especially during thunderstorms. When lightning strikes, it ionizes the atmosphere, and these charged particles are absorbed by the ground. Later, when you walk barefoot or sit upon the earth, your body absorbs this stored energy. It is grounding in the truest sense.

As I was sharing this, I saw a Condor eagle in the distance and heard monkeys calling to one another. Their communication was vibrant—life in its pure form.

Breakfast with the Monkeys

Later that morning, I greeted one monkey, saying, “Mr. Monkey, how are you?” It was sitting on the roof. Soon, the whole troop arrived! I stood still, observing. They were not aggressive, only curious. I said softly, “Go, go, go…” unsure whether they were friendly.

They began moving toward the trees, but a few lingered near the room. Their sounds filled the air. I had to close the door because they seemed ready to enter. “What’s wrong with you, monkeys?” I laughed. “Why so many of you?”

Outside, they climbed the branches, watching me. I asked myself, “Do they come every day?” Perhaps they do. Nature knows who belongs here.

The Unexpected Visitor

I planned to eat my breakfast outside that day. But the monkeys had other plans. I decided to eat indoors. I had some idlis, vada, and butter. Just as I settled down, one monkey dashed in and snatched a vada from my plate! I couldn’t help but laugh. I didn’t know it would be such an adventure—sharing breakfast with nature’s playful spirits.

This is what it means to live spirituality through life itself. It is not always silent meditation or ritual. Sometimes, it is laughter over a stolen vada.

Closing Reflections

As I enjoyed the remaining food, I thought about how every moment in nature becomes a teacher. The wind teaches flow, the monkeys teach spontaneity, and the earth teaches grounding.

So, wherever you are, step out and breathe life. Let the negative ions of nature fill you. Let the wind kiss your face. Let your primitive joy awaken again.

Because in truth, spirituality is not an escape from the natural world—it is a deeper participation in it. The moving wind, the living jungle, the laughter of monkeys, the stillness of the canopy—all are one continuous breath of the universe flowing through you.
