Kundalini Awakening and Mouth Exhalation – Walking in Nature to Absorb Negative Ions

Background

In this experiential teaching, I, Siddha Guru Sanju, share a living method that unites mouth exhalation breathing and walking meditation in nature to infuse the body with negative ions and awaken Kundalini energy. This discourse was born during a real-time nature walk through a forest abundant in life. The hum of insects, rustling of leaves, and whispers of wind became part of the practice itself.

This process is not a concept—it is an experience. Through deep mouth exhalation, the body releases used air, carbon dioxide, and trapped Apana energy. Through walking, the pranic flow within begins to rise. Together, they cleanse the nervous system, calm the overactive mind, strengthen the root and pelvic regions, and connect the physical body with the magnetic pulse of the Earth. This is the ancient way to synchronize one’s breath, brain, and soul with the living field of nature.

Stillness, Coolness, and the Power of Negative Ions

Stillness speaks. Inside that stillness, there is coolness. Wherever coolness is present, there exist negative ions in abundance. I have taken you to a place unlike any other—vibrant, pure, and untouched by artificial energy. The ambiance here is alive and deeply silent at the same time.

Feel it. This silence is not emptiness—it is full of consciousness. The air is dense with moisture, oxygen, and energy. When you breathe it in, you are not merely taking in air; you are absorbing life force itself.

As you stand or walk, continue the mouth exhalation technique. Inhale through your nose softly and exhale through your mouth completely. Let every breath carry away tension and heat from your system. Let each exhalation cleanse the pathways of prana.

Immersed in the Wild

The forest hums with unseen life—the rhythmic song of crickets, the buzz of mosquitoes, and the distant sound of wind brushing through trees. A chiku tree stands beside me, its fruit glowing like jewels. I pause and observe its stillness, its natural rhythm.

The mosquitoes bite, reminding me that nature does not offer comfort; it offers aliveness. Every sensation—pleasant or unpleasant—is part of the sacred dialogue between body and environment.

The monkeys who were around earlier have vanished into the clouds that drift low over the trees. The atmosphere turns cooler, thicker, and quieter. The presence of moisture tells me this place is rich in negative ions—the invisible healers of the Earth.

The Sacred Act of Walking

I begin walking again, slowly and consciously. Each step connects me deeper to the Earth’s magnetic heartbeat. Walking is not merely a physical movement; it is meditation in motion.

You too must walk. Whether in your room, on your terrace, in a nearby garden, or amidst the woods—walk consciously. Walking is the most primitive human activity. It awakens the pranic current, strengthens the nervous system, and grounds your subtle body.

The Earth beneath your feet transmits her energy into you. The air above infuses your blood with vitality. Do not delay this act. Walking in nature aligns your rhythm with the universal frequency of life.

The Art of Mouth Exhalation

Continue the mouth exhalation. This is not ordinary breathing—it is a sacred purification. Exhaling through the mouth releases trapped heat and emotional residue. It removes excess carbon dioxide, freeing your lungs and clearing pranic blockages.

When practiced in a place rich in negative ions, the effect multiplies. These ions neutralize harmful free radicals, balance your electromagnetic field, and bring clarity to the brain. Feel the coolness of the air as you breathe out. Sense your body being charged with subtle vitality.

Each exhalation is an act of surrender, a letting-go of heaviness, and a welcoming of stillness.

Off-Roading and Strengthening the Body

After some time, the smooth trail gives way to uneven terrain—rocks, slopes, and roots beneath my feet. This is off-roading, and it carries immense energetic significance.

Walking on uneven surfaces awakens your leg muscles, pelvis, and thighs. It strengthens your foundation—the root of your energetic system. Physically, it builds balance and stability; energetically, it grounds the Kundalini current into the Earth.

Behind me rise ancient stones that seem to hold the memory of time. In the distance, a peacock cries from deep within the forest. Even unseen, its sound merges with my awareness. This entire environment is one field of consciousness, one vibrating organism.

Nearby, a small coconut sapling grows. At first, I thought it was a betel nut, but it is indeed a young coconut—symbolizing new life sprouting from the old.

The Mind, Fear, and Flow

As I move forward, I notice the mind’s resistance. The ego begins to whisper doubts: What if there are snakes? What if I lose my way? Yet, I keep walking. The mind’s fear is only the noise of separation. Life wants you to flow with it, not control it.

To live means to follow life’s rhythm—to walk even when you do not know the path ahead. When you surrender, your breath aligns with the pulse of the universe. Fear dissolves, and movement becomes effortless. This is the path of trust, the path of living from the instinct rather than intellect.

Awakening the Primitive Brain

Walking in the wild awakens the lower part of the brain—the primitive brain. This region governs instinct, survival, and balance. Modern life suppresses it with artificial surroundings and excess stimulation. But in nature, it reawakens.

As I look around, my eyes move in all directions. The muscles around them strengthen, improving blood flow to the brain. The senses expand. Awareness sharpens. The primitive intelligence—once dormant—returns to life.

I find a coffee plant nearby, its small buds glistening with dew. These raw berries will one day become roasted coffee. This is transformation in its simplest form—the alchemy of nature. Every bud and branch carries the code of renewal.

Instinctive Living and Natural Curiosity

A child near me begins to climb a papaya tree—fearless, playful, alive. This is how nature expresses pure instinct. She climbs instinctively, responding to her inner call. I gently guide her not to go too high, balancing instinct with awareness.

This moment captures the essence of living naturally: to act spontaneously yet consciously. Nature is not chaotic—it is intelligent. When we live in sync with it, our intuition becomes the highest guide.

Solitary Walking and Listening to Nature

I have now walked for over thirty minutes. There is no goal, no destination—only immersion. Walking in solitude is the real practice. It is not meant for conversation or distraction. When you walk alone, you begin to listen.

Nature speaks through the sound of leaves, through the whispering wind, through silence. In such listening, the boundaries between you and the environment dissolve. What remains is pure awareness—silent, expanded, awake.

The Living Earth and Her Gifts

As I approach the edge of the forest, I pass a cowshed. Grass is being gathered for the animals. A woman collects coconut leaves for her home. The air smells of soil and moisture.

I notice the roots of a coconut tree twisting inward, forming patterns of resilience. Nearby, wild mushrooms grow in the shade—small, mysterious, and luminous. Life expresses itself everywhere—in trees, insects, soil, and silence.

I pick up a fallen betel nut from the grove. It feels symbolic, as if the Earth herself is giving me a token of connection. I realize I have returned to where I began—but with a renewed sense of energy and stillness.

The Price and Reward of Nature

There is a small swelling on my head from a mosquito bite. It stings, but it also reminds me of a truth: to live close to nature is to accept her entirely—the beauty and the bite, the comfort and the challenge.

After forty minutes of continuous walking and mouth exhalation, I feel a profound shift. The mind has quieted. The body feels light. The breath flows naturally. Every cell vibrates with calm vitality.

Mouth exhalation amidst negative ions purifies not only your lungs but your entire energy field. It resets your pranic balance, clears stagnation, and harmonizes your electromagnetic body.

Living from the Breath of Life

Life is not to be understood from a distance. It must be lived, walked, and breathed through. When your breath and body move in rhythm with nature, you align with your original frequency. You begin to live instinctively, intuitively, and freely.

This is the way of the Instinctive Path—the direct experience of energy in motion. Breathe through your mouth, walk consciously, and allow the Earth to recharge your being.

Let your body become an open vessel for prana. Let your exhalation carry away fear, stagnation, and thought. Feel the stillness that follows.

The stillness speaks when you are silent enough to hear it. Walk gently, breathe fully, and let nature infuse you with her invisible blessing—the gift of life itself.
