Background
I am Guru Sanju. This teaching emerges from a living field of Kundalini, negative ions, the solar plexus chakra, and the elements—fire, air, and space. In this discourse, I guide you to activate your solar plexus—the sun center—through sunlight, earthing on mud and grass, breath, movement, and spacious awareness. You will learn how morning or afternoon sunlight awakens your core, why negative ions from sunlit nature quickly calm inflammation and the mind, and how simple, instinctive postures like the deep squat (Malasana) and lying on grass align multiple chakras at once. I walk you through a complete experience: eyes closed, chest open, arms expanded; grounding on wet earth; walking and running under a blue sky; venturing into the unknown with courage; and finally, resting to let Kundalini move on its own. Read this as a standalone practice manual and live it as a direct experience.
The Solar Plexus: Core of Existence and Creation
The next, third chakra is the sun chakra—the fiery solar plexus. The solar plexus is connected with the fire element. The fire element is activated in your body through the sun. When you take sunlight—the morning sunlight or the afternoon sunlight—your solar plexus gets activated.
How to take sunlight and why to take sunlight? I will tell you in the context of Kundalini awakening and grounding your solar plexus—grounding your third chakra, the sun chakra.
The solar plexus is the center of your existence. The solar plexus is the center of your creation. Center of your creation means the solar plexus is the core of your body, and if your core is not strong, then your body is not strong. If you want to create a great career, if you want to create a great life—if you have a purpose—your life purpose is connected to your core. Your life purpose is connected to how strong your fiery chakra—your solar plexus—is.
How to do it? Go back to the first teaching on grounding your earth chakra—the root chakra. When you study that, you receive a detailed understanding of how negative ions are helpful for your body.
Sunlight and Negative Ions: Why Your Core Loves the Sun
From where do you get these negative ions? When you talk about the solar plexus, there are multiple benefits. Not only does your body receive negative ions; your solar plexus—your core—is activated due to the presence of heat in the sun. Along with the heat, the sun gives you negative ions.
How to do this practice—Step-by-step:
- Face the Sun, Close the Eyes
Stand where sunlight is arriving. Close your eyes to soften the optic nerve and relax the brain. - Open the Arms and Chest
Open your arms and open your chest. Allow the sternum to rise slightly as your shoulder blades slide down. - Curved Spine, Lifted Heart
Make a gentle curve through the spine—lifting the heart space without collapsing the lower back. - Receive the Heat
Let the heat of the sun energize your body. Keep your eyes closed and soak in the heat and the energy of the sun.
The sun is the highest source of prana, the highest source of negative ions. Sunlight carries a high volume of negative ions. You do not need anything else if you are receiving sunlight regularly for your Kundalini journey. The negative ions present in sunlit air energize you immediately. You will feel that the energy moves very fast through the body—through the skin and through the breath.
When sunlight is happening—when the sun is shining and it is not a cloudy day—you feel refreshed because your breathing improves, vasodilation happens, and your energy channels open. Have this experience completely by opening your chest and spreading your arms.
Duration: Soak in the sunlight for 10 to 15 minutes.
If you are located in a place that does not receive much sunlight, or you do not get enough sunlight, then go to a place where sunlight is regular. This will heal you to a great extent—especially if you are going through inflammatory conditions; brain and mental health–related conditions; neuro issues; arthritis; or anything to do with inflammation.
Soak in the sunlight completely—for 10 to 15 minutes. Your eye muscles, your face muscles—everything will relax as you receive sunlight.
Grounding the Core with Earth and Sun: Malasana and Mud
If it becomes a little cloudy, continue with solar plexus grounding while adding earth grounding. If sunlight is coming from a particular direction and there is not much grass, ground yourself on mud.
Malasana (Deep Squat) for Dual Grounding
Sit on the earth in Malasana—the deep squat pose. Keep both feet fully on the ground, heels rooted if possible. Lengthen your spine gently. With hands together or resting lightly on the knees, breathe slowly.
Enjoy this with me and gaze with closed eyes toward the sun’s direction. Look up to the blue sky behind you between breaths.
You can remain in this pose for greater benefits. In this pose, Kundalini grounds into the root chakra while sunlight balances the solar plexus. In fact, this pose balances the lower three chakras. The sacral chakra also gets balanced. Your pelvic region receives energy, and the ions rush through your body because of two effects: earth grounding by keeping your feet on wet mud and simultaneously taking sunlight.
Remain silent for some time and feel the changes in your body: the movement of blood circulation, the movement of oxygen. As you sit, notice the cooling effect on the brain—that indicates oxygen reaching the brain. Negative ions are cooling in nature; positive ions are hot in nature—they create heat in the body. When you feel cooling, negative ions are combining with positive ions and moving through the body in different directions. After some time, you will feel extremely balanced.
Practice 5 to 10 minutes of earth grounding with sun grounding. This will help a lot with reducing inflammation and strengthening your core.
If you find wet mud, that is best. Even if not, walk in sunlight in natural surroundings. If a garden has trees and water nearby but less direct sunlight, shift to another area with more sun. Everything needs sunlight. Natural beings cannot survive without sunlight because the sun is the highest source of negative ions. Plants need that too—and greenery generates negative ions wherever there is abundance of the water element.
Triple Balancing: Earth, Water, and Sun Together
Combine earth grounding with sun exposure to balance the root, sacral, and solar plexus chakras.
Walking Grounding Practice
Open your feet and walk on grass while looking toward the sun. When a single environment gives you sunlight, wet grass, the earth below, and nearby water, all three lower chakras balance together.
As you walk, notice tropical fruits—orange fruit, banana plants, lemon, guava. As these are enriched, you will be enriched too. If clouds arrive and you cannot see the sun, continue grounding on wet mud and wet grass. There is never an “ideal condition.” Use what is available. The blue sky is amazing; the mud is amazing; the sun is amazing. If a banana leaf falls, observe it. Let nature inform your senses.
When sunlight breaks through again, experience open space. Open space is extremely important for balancing the upper three chakras. Nature and greenery open the heart chakra. Space supports throat, third eye, and crown. The heart opens in green landscapes; the mind opens in blue vastness.
Joy Frequency: Leadership, Adventure, and the Warrior Core
Take sunlight and experience the joy frequency it activates. When sunlight activates your solar plexus, you enter the energy of joy. The energy of joy is connected to your solar plexus. When you are joyful, you feel like taking challenges. You feel like doing adventure.
Action Principle
Recharge in sunlight—receive an abundance of negative ions—then do something adventurous. Take challenges and plunge. Cross a ditch, jump a small gap, or walk a new path. Let the jungle call forth the warrior energy.
The solar plexus is connected to the warrior in you. It is connected to how adventurous you are. When you stand in your core, leadership qualities improve. You feel like taking the plunge in life, taking decisions, going into the unknown.
This is what happens with sun grounding: as I ground with the sun, my solar plexus is activated and it tells me to take adventure that is not easy and to go into the unknown. I go into the unknown and take you along with me—walking from where I came, crossing the wild path, feeling the immensity of nature, and experiencing victory peaks in the background.
Running for Solar Activation
Running is important to activate the solar plexus. For running, you need open space. Move from jungle shade back into sunlit openness. Let the place be full of sunlight—the ideal place to activate the solar plexus. Notice the lustrous plants—their sheen is ojas shining in sunlight. Likewise, sun helps increase ojas in you. Ojas is very important for Kundalini.
When the solar plexus is highly activated, it leads to the production of testosterone—high testosterone in males and high estrogen in females in a balanced, healthy way.
If you come to a place like this, run. Where is the mind? There is no mind. Take the initiative. This is a new frequency. Even if you get sunlight, even if you get earth, even if conditions are ideal—who will live life like this? Live life like me. See the lustrous tree, the blue sky, and the abundance of prana.
Run with me. Laugh with me. Joy frequency. The dance of life. Life is a dance and you are the dancer. You know how to dance. Take this opportunity to live life.
Redefining Adventure: Risk, Presence, and the Beehive Test
What is adventure? Adventure is when you do something unknown and unpredictable. Take the risk and create your life. When your solar plexus is activated, you will feel like doing more adventure. You will not feel like being in the same cycle of patterns—living life the same way.
See a beehive. I take the risk of being bitten, and yet I do it. The bees go out to gather nectar. Some remain. Even with the possibility of a sting, I move closer. This is the adventure my solar plexus offers—the feeling of the warrior is the best adventure.
I came from far within the wild and I take pleasure in nature—doing the best adventure. Let this show you that courage and joy arise from a strong, clear core.
The Elements Together: Fire, Air, and Space
I will create three teachings for clarity on all the elements. Primarily, this teaching is for the solar plexus, but you also receive clarity that you need nature to open your heart chakra, and the upper three chakras need space, which is abundant here. I showed you space. For the water element, I will show you exclusively how to balance the sacral chakra with water.
In these three teachings, you receive the clarity about what needs to be done. And when you find a place like this, lie down and ground on the grass. Sleep on the grass.
Grass Grounding with the Sun: Let Kundalini Move
Complete Receptivity Practice
Spread your legs comfortably. Lie down on grass in sunlight. Soak in the sunlight directly.
My body is flushed with negative ions now, and Kundalini is moving. As I am shaking my legs, this is the impact of grounding. It happens on its own as I ground. This is the action that arises when the body receives what it needs.
Kundalini processes very fast when you ground on grass. This is my pleasure—now I show you how I am actually activating all the chakras:
- Blue Sky Above: Space element, upper chakras clearing.
- Open Field: Air and space—breath expands, mind clears.
- Sun Overhead: Fire element—solar plexus activation, vitality, joy.
- Earth Beneath: Rooting, stability, parasympathetic calm.
- Green Nature: Heart chakra opening, emotional balance.
If the sun appears again, ground a little more. Look at nature around you and stay long enough for the field to work through you. You must be willing to “go mad” in the best way—drop the mind’s tight control and let life instruct your nervous system. These are all Kundalini movements happening because I gave her what she needed—sunlight, open sky, earth, grass, and nature. With this one activity, all chakras are balanced.
I walked on grass earlier; that was one activity. Lying down here is another. When you sleep on the grass and take sunlight directly with open space and nature around, all chakras balance.
Expression, Intuition, and Hormonal Harmony
What about the throat and the third eye? The third eye is your intuitive energy—the energy of the habit of living by intuition. When you start living life intuitively, your third eye activates. The pituitary gland activates. Right now, all my hormones balance and activate through this one activity.
My throat chakra is getting activated because I am expressing. If you are in your Kundalini awakening journey, always keep expressing what you feel. Stop telling lies. Stop suppressing energies. Whatever you want to feel, start expressing. With expression, many things open—especially when nature gives you the best.
This experience is full of abundance because I am placing my hands on the ground and receiving negative ions through my whole body. Feet grounded. Hands grounded. Everything here is amazing. I grounded by lying down—lying down is the best position for Kundalini—and I did that. Pure bliss, joy, love, peace—everything activated.
Sequence and Integration: Three Pillars of Practice
You may encounter these three teachings not in sequence. If this is the first of the three you are reading, go and study the other two. They will appear in a playlist in serial order: root chakra, sacral chakra, and then solar plexus. Whatever the sequence, you need all three. If you only follow one and skip another, you will not understand the complete essence.
So that is all for this part. Now, we move to water grounding to balance the sacral chakra. I will show you how it works—exactly, instinctively, and completely.
Practice Summary: How to Do It Today
- Sun Soak (10–15 minutes): Eyes closed, arms and chest open, gentle spinal curve, face the sun. Receive heat and prana.
- Malasana Grounding (5–10 minutes): Deep squat on mud or grass. Feet fully rooted. Breathe slowly; let pelvic floor relax.
- Walk on Wet Grass: Combine sun, earth, and water elements. Let ions rush through the body.
- Run in Open Space: Short natural sprints in sunlight to awaken joy and courage.
- Adventurous Gesture: Take a small, safe risk—step into the unknown; feel the warrior core.
- Lie on Grass (as long as it feels good): Arms and legs relaxed; let Kundalini move on its own.
- Express What You Feel: Speak honestly; let throat and third eye open through truthfulness and intuition.
- Receive Space and Greenery: Blue sky for upper chakras; green landscapes for the heart.
There will never be perfect conditions. Use what is present. The sun, the mud, the grass, the blue sky, the grove of banana and lemon and guava—everything is a teacher. Let the elements balance the chakras. Let negative ions cool the brain and soothe inflammation. Let the sun awaken courage. Let your core lead you into the unknown.
Closing
You have learned how sunlight activates your solar plexus and why negative ions from sunlit nature rapidly balance body and mind. You have learned how earth grounding and Malasana stabilize the lower chakras, how open space and greenery open the upper and heart chakras, how running and adventure awaken joy and leadership, and how lying on grass allows Kundalini to move by itself. If this is your first step, complete the trilogy by studying the earth (root) and water (sacral) teachings. Then, meet me by the water. We will ground the sacral chakra and let the flow of life complete what the sun has begun.
