I asked gently, “How does it feel?”
“I know how it feels — young, lighter, spacious,” came the response.
I smiled, sensing the shift. “Spacious,” I repeated. “Great.”
The stillness in the air deepened. I asked softly, “Was it worth it, coming here?”
My student looked at me, eyes shimmering with tears, and said, “I have no words.”
“That’s fantastic,” I said.
“I don’t know what to think,” he continued. “I’m just grateful for this experience.”
Gratitude — the sign that the ego has begun to dissolve. Two different expressions were emerging now — stillness and movement.
“When you came, you were like water,” I said. “Now you are a fountain. Can I see it?”
“Yes,” he nodded.
“Feel the movement, Shakti, and the stillness,” I instructed. “The flow is Shakti, and the stillness is Shiva. Without you, there is no Shiva. Without Shiva, there is no Shakti.”
Shiva and Shakti: The Union of Flow and Stillness
The stillness is Shiva. The laughter, the expression, the joy — that is Shakti. Both are inseparable. Both are one.
When Shakti moves, life flows. When Shiva rests, peace descends. And within this divine dance, ego has no place. Only life remains.
The Journey of Seven Days
“So we started from here,” I said, looking into his eyes. “And after seven days — what has changed?”
“Everything,” he replied softly.
“Everything changed,” I repeated, “because life is here and now. We lived every moment to create a new reality. And you too can create this reality.”
A new journey — an upward journey — begins from this point. The unfolding has started.
My student, after all his transformation, was ready to begin his new life. As he prepared to leave, I said, “Let’s say goodbye to everyone.”
He turned, smiling, “Bye-bye.”
“What a wonderful journey for you,” I said. “Just be — be there in your newness.”
The Death of the Ego
The death of the ego is the beginning of new life. What you are about to witness — and what I share with you now — is about that sacred death and new birth.
