Welcome to Inner GPS Gurus.
Let us explore the profound truth behind Karma—what it is, and how to complete it as a human being.
Understanding Karma as Action
Karma is the action you perform as a human being after taking birth in this existence, in this energetic experience. In every moment, you are either doing something or not doing something. Whether you act or remain inactive, karma is being created.
Karma operates through the law of cause and effect. The cause—your internal impulse—leads you to take an action, and once the action is taken, it brings about a result. If the action is positive, the result will be positive. If the action is negative, the result will be negative.
What determines whether your action is positive or negative? It is directed by the tendencies, desires, and emotions residing in your mind.
If your mind is filled with energies of love, joy, calmness, serenity, gratitude, and compassion, then your external actions will be positive. On the other hand, if your mind is filled with fear, guilt, shame, blame, sadness, grief, anger, pride, or hatred, you will perform negative actions.
The Root of Karma Lies in the Mind
All your karmas as a human being are guided by the energy in your subtle body, which expresses itself as the mind. This mind is not just from this present birth; it has carried forward experiences and imprints from many previous births.
Just as liabilities get carried over into the next financial year if unpaid, karmas too are carried forward if not resolved. In the same way, even if you don’t consciously plan certain actions, some still happen. Some are unconscious. Some happen spontaneously. Some occur without your full awareness.
Most actions you take daily follow patterns, which arise from the thoughts constantly running through your mind. These thoughts silently design the karma you accumulate.
Thoughts Alone Create Karma
Karma is not limited to physical action. Even if you do nothing externally but indulge in thoughts—especially negative thoughts—karma is still being created.
Be deeply aware of what you feed your mind. The mind is a hidden mechanism, a subtle identity, operating autonomously within you. It silently creates karma on an energy level.
If you think negatively about someone, no visible action may occur, but your thoughts create a negative vibration. This vibration expands into the energy field around you and travels throughout the universe, generating bad karma.
Conversely, if you think positively about someone, that energy radiates outward and creates good karma.
Karma and the Universal Return
The law of cause and effect ensures that whatever energy you emit—whether through thought, emotion, or action—returns to you. If not in this birth, then in the births to come.
You have already created countless karmas. Many of these are yet to bear fruit. This is why, in this birth, you experience mental suffering, bodily disease, and other energetic disturbances even if you haven’t knowingly done anything wrong.
These sufferings are the effects of karmas created in your past lives. Similarly, many blessings—such as harmonious relationships, thriving business, or financial abundance—are the result of good karmas from earlier births.
This cycle of cause and effect continues… until one day, something shifts.
The Birth of Karmic Completion
In one particular birth, your energy may decide to become free. Imagine that you began your journey at Point ‘O’ and have reached Point ‘Z’. Now, in this life, your energy may choose to settle all the karmic accounts that have remained unresolved across countless lifetimes.
When this happens, your system begins to initiate karmic settlement across different layers of your being. You may face physical health issues. You may go through anxiety, depression, or mental stress. You may feel energetically fragmented, disturbed, or unable to live your life fully. Everything around you feels unsettled.
This is because your energy is doing everything it can to clear all karmic blockages—through all chakras and energy channels within your system.
Kundalini Awakening as Karmic Purification
This deep karmic settlement, at its root, is nothing but Kundalini Awakening.
In what could be your final incarnation before Moksha (liberation), the Kundalini energy rises to complete its karmic journey. This process brings intense external experiences—turbulence in relationships, financial loss, health deterioration, emotional upheaval—and these may leave you confused about why your life has turned upside down.
Karma settlement is not easy. But it is not impossible.
