People Know the Price of Everything, But the Value of Nothing
People know the price of everything, but the value of nothing.
What does this really mean?
It means that almost everything in the world can be bought with money. Everything has a price tag. Food has a price. Water has a price. A house has a price. A car has a price. Clothes have a price. Relationships also, in a subtle way, are lived through price, transaction, exchange, expectation, and investment.
But value is something entirely different.
Value is not what you pay.
Value is what you actually receive in consciousness.
Value is what your body, your senses, your presence, and your life extract from an experience.
The Value of a Meal Cannot Be Measured by Price
Just now I had a meal. That food had a certain price. I paid for it. But the value of that meal was immense.
Especially when you are hungry, and you get the exact food that you wanted to eat in that moment, then the value of that food becomes almost invaluable.
The price may be small, medium, or large according to the world. But the value depends on your presence.
So I first enjoyed my meal, and then I decided to share this teaching with you after that experience had completed itself inside me.
The Value of Food Is Extracted Through Conscious Living
The value of the food that I had just now became invaluable because I extracted the highest pleasure from eating it in that moment.
In that moment, my body and my senses extracted the highest value from the food because of one technique that I use while taking any experience of life.
That technique is the art of conscious living.
With the art of conscious living, you can extract the highest value from all the prices you pay for different experiences of life.
I ate consciously.
That is why I could feel each and every moment of the taste blending with my saliva. I could feel the spices. I could feel the salty taste, the sweetness, the bitter taste. Since I had the food with my hands, I could feel the heat of the food. I could feel the coolness of the food.
So everything that the food had to offer — apart from the material matter that it is, apart from the nutritional value that it is — the actual experience of taking pleasure from it became possible only because of consciousness.
You Live in a World of Price Tags
You live in a world where the price of everything is tagged.
You invest in properties. You invest in homes. You invest in cars. You invest in different financial instruments. You invest in the matrix itself. You invest in relationships by getting married, by giving birth to children, by taking care of everyone as if you are meant to live life only for them.
I am talking to the individuals who actually want to be happy and healthy.
If you want to be happy and healthy, you have to extract the value of everything by living consciously.
You have to stop living unconsciously.
You have to stop living in the programmed way.
The Only Real Question
My only question to you is this:
When you are taking any experience in life, are you present to that experience?
Are you fully present with all your senses while taking that experience?
If not, then you are only paying the price. You are not receiving the value.
A Demonstration Through Drinking Water
Let me give you a very simple demonstration through drinking water.
Suppose you are thirsty, and you have paid the price of sitting in a café and drinking a glass of water.
Now when you are drinking that glass of water, are you really there for the experience?
I have seen ninety-nine percent of the population on Earth today doing everything unconsciously.
If you are among the rare few who want to live consciously, then when you drink water, make sure you are present to that sip of water.
Life Interrupted the Teaching — and That Was the Teaching
At that very moment, while I was about to demonstrate conscious drinking of water, a dog came to me.
And instead of continuing with the water first, I responded to life.
That itself became the real teaching.
I responded to the dog. I loved the dog. I talked to the dog. I played with the dog. I allowed that life to enter my moment.
Now ask yourself:
What was the value of that moment?
And what price had I paid for that experience?
I had paid no price.
Yet the value was immense.
That is the secret.
To Extract Value, You Must Be Fully Present
If you want to extract value from anything, you must be fully present.
Fully present to life.
Be conscious every moment. Be aware every moment. Be with yourself, so that you can be present to the love that is radiating toward you from life.
I loved the dog because the universe sent that dog into my moment.
That was my presence.
That was my participation in life.
Can You Afford the Quality of Experience?
You pay the price of things from the perspective of the mind, from the perspective of the ego, from the perspective of affordability.
But can you afford the quality of experience?
Can you afford the value that can be extracted from that experience?
Can you evolve yourself through that experience?
That is the real question.
As you could see, my energy became high because I loved that dog. I shared my love with the dog, and my oxytocin, serotonin, dopamine, and endorphins all got released.
All the good hormones got released because I participated in life.
I extracted the highest value from that moment.
These Are Symbolic Lessons
Everything I am showing you is symbolic.
I am showing you these expressions so that you start observing and start participating in life from the perspective of consciousness, not from the perspective of a robot acting unconsciously.
That is the whole teaching.
Now Come Back to the Water
So now let me complete the demonstration about water.
When you are drinking a glass of water, make sure you are fully present to the experience of drinking that water.
Take just one sip.
Taste the water.
Move the water in your mouth consciously.
Feel it.
Do not swallow mechanically.
Drink Your Food and Chew Your Water
Conscious eating and conscious drinking mean this:
You chew your food to the extent that it becomes a paste.
And you drink your water in such a way that you are almost chewing it.
The formula is very simple:
Drink your food and chew your water.
Chew your water means mix saliva with the water.
When you mix saliva with the water, your enzymes get mixed with it, and that acts as an energy booster.
You get energized more quickly.
And if the water has nutrients in it, those nutrients are extracted better by the body through conscious drinking.
Only Price Is Not Enough
This is just one aspect of extracting the highest value from the experiences for which you pay a price.
So do not only pay the price.
Make sure that you are present to the experience so that you can extract the highest value from it.
This is my teaching.
The Real Purpose of This Teaching
Through this teaching, I want to make sure that you live the life of the highest individual — the one who uses the brain in the right way, not the one whose mind is running the show while he becomes the puppet of the world, the matrix, and society.
That is the entire point.
Closing
So remember this:
People know the price of everything, but the value of nothing.
You must become the one who knows how to extract value.
And value can only be extracted through consciousness.
That is all.
Bye-bye.
