I, Guru Sanju, am speaking here on consciousness in the simplest and most direct way possible. I am not speaking of consciousness as an abstract philosophy. I am showing it through the sky, sunlight, trees, mountains, stillness, and the witnessing state available in this very moment. Most people are trapped in the mind and do not know that freedom is possible now, not later. The blue sky becomes the perfect teaching because it reveals what consciousness is when thoughts are absent. Clouds are like mind and thought patterns; the clear sky is like pure awareness. In this discourse, I explain how nature, negative ions, sunlight, and one-pointed attention help you move from mental noise into witnessing consciousness. This is not only spiritual language. It is also practical healing for anxiety, depression, low mood, and scattered attention. I want you to feel consciousness, not merely think about it.
Why I Am Showing You the Blue Sky
Why am I showing you the blue sky? Look at the blue sky. Completely blue sky. The blue sky, the clear sky, shows complete consciousness. There is no mind there. And when the clouds come, it is the indication of mind and thoughts.
See the sun. Today I am going to teach you consciousness.
What Is Consciousness?
Why is consciousness required? What is consciousness? If you remove the mind, if you remove the constant, continuous chain of thoughts, then the witnessing element is consciousness.
Consciousness is all the time conscious witnessing.
If you want to see freedom, you can be free in this very moment. If there are no thoughts, then witnessing consciousness is simply witnessing. It means you are free. You are free completely.
Thoughts, Objects, and Attention
You can see the boats here. These are indications of some thoughts. When you look at them, you will see different colors, different movements, different impressions. Then here it is a single boat. I have laser-focused attention on this boat, and see what is happening inside.
The moment attention becomes single-pointed, something shifts. The mind begins losing its scattered quality. The witness begins becoming clearer.
Mountains, Greenery, and the Witnessing State
The mountain range indicates nature, greenery, negative ions, oxygen, full sunlight, and life force. Negative ions enhance your mood. No anxiety. No depression. If you are depressed, spend thirty minutes in sunlight daily. Do not sit. Walk.
Walk four, five, even up to eight kilometers a day. Then you will see your depression going away. Your anxiety coming down.
Why does this happen? It is due to negative ions. Negative ions give mood enhancement. Your cognitive power increases. And that is the beauty.
Oneness Is Not an Idea — It Is a Feeling
What do you feel when you remain with this view? You feel complete oneness. This complete greenery gives you that single-pointed witness.
Now you can keep looking at these trees, and witnessing will begin. Then witness who is witnessing all these things. Then you will see the witness, the witness itself. You are witnessing the witness. And then you will go into complete consciousness, complete witness.
From Mind to Consciousness
Through this teaching, I want you to become more conscious, less in mind, and more in consciousness.
Mind is noise. Mind is commentary. Mind keeps producing one chain of thought after another. Consciousness is different. Consciousness does not struggle. Consciousness watches. Consciousness remains present. Consciousness does not need to prove anything. It simply is.
The blue sky teaches you this directly. Clouds come and go, but the sky remains. Thoughts come and go, but consciousness remains. If you identify with clouds, you suffer the movement of the mind. If you recognize yourself as the sky, then thoughts lose their power over you.
Nature Helps You Enter Consciousness
This is why nature is so important. Sunlight, mountains, greenery, fresh air, negative ions, and open space help you move out of the constant pressure of mind. Your body relaxes. Your breath changes. Your nervous system opens. Your eyes begin to receive life instead of only information.
Then witnessing becomes natural. Then consciousness is not forced. Then meditation is not a technique. It becomes a living state.
Freedom Is Available Now
You do not have to wait years to understand this. You can be free at this moment. Remove the hold of thought. Stop feeding the chain of mind. Look. Feel. Witness. Stay with the blue sky, with the sun, with the trees, with the mountains, with the breath, and notice what remains when thought is not ruling you.
That remaining presence is consciousness.
That presence is freedom.
