Most of you who are going through the Kundalini awakening journey carry a lot of confusion—especially around how Kundalini operates in men versus how it awakens in women. You often lack clarity about the real energetic differences between the masculine and feminine, and this misunderstanding intensifies when your partner is also going through a Kundalini awakening.
If you are a man experiencing Kundalini awakening, and your partner is also simultaneously undergoing the same process, it is essential to understand that the journey is different for each of you. The way Kundalini is processed in the male system is not the same as in the female system. Similarly, if you are a woman undergoing Kundalini awakening, and your partner is going through it as well, you must understand both the differences and the commonalities in your experiences—so that both of you can navigate the process more consciously, rather than chaotically.
Beyond the context of relationships, Kundalini awakening in men in general, and in women in general, also follows distinct energetic patterns. But to understand this clearly, you must avoid mixing it up with excessive external information or making it unnecessarily esoteric. Kundalini awakening is not just mystical—it is an extremely practical and energetic transformation. For example, if you are going through Kundalini awakening or your Kundalini has awakened spontaneously, then you need to understand—in a male, it will increase your sexual libido. You will make many mistakes in understanding this sexual energy in terms of lust energy. You may feel uncontrollable in terms of your sexual energy, and you may take adverse steps to get rid of that energy through many wrong methods. It could be going into addictions or engaging in sex with other females uncontrollably. Uncontrolled means that you are releasing a lot of semen.
If you are having sexual energy rising up in you, you need to understand that this needs to be retained. You need to go for semen retention instead of going for sex or going into addictions. If you know that Kundalini is going to increase your sexual energy, and that energy has come up for your growth, for your increasing level of consciousness, that same sex energy will be transmuted into the energy of Superconscious. That energy is used by Kundalini to process further and further in her journey, and also to purify, transform, and cleanse your system from all the karmic blockages and all the processes that Kundalini does.
Similarly, in this case, if you are a female, then also you experience similar symptoms or similar energetic disturbances due to an increase in your sexual libido. What happens? You do not know how to get rid of that energy, or you do not know the reason behind your increase in sexual energy. So, you also go into addictions. You also go for multiple partners instead of sticking to one partner.
What happens for a female—since Kundalini herself is the feminine energy—when she awakens in a female, she will increase her tendency to be more sexually active, and she will have enough or ample amount of energy which any male of the world could not satisfy her. You need to understand this very deeply: that this sexual energy in a female is too high—so much high—that it could not be matched with any worldly male who is not high in his sexual energy.
A single man cannot satisfy this female. The sexual energy is so much that this female needs a Shiva—needs a conscious man, a conscious man who is high in sexual energy himself. And that man can satisfy the sexual urges of this female through powerful domination, through powerful tantric ways of having sex. And that man must be a conscious man who retains semen, a man who is masculine, a man who is dominating, a man who is highly powerful and who is having a high level of testosterone, a high level of dopamine in him.
To satisfy this woman, he can only be suitable for this female who is going through the Kundalini awakening journey. Now, this condition of sexual tendency increasing in you or energy increasing in you is a very delicate condition. First of all, you are in the matrix, and you do not know how to manage this energy. So, what do you do? You go and take steps—for both male and female.
When you experience this energy, it is very difficult for you to know why it is happening to you, and you feel that something is wrong with you. You take wrong decisions in the form of addiction—in the form of extreme levels of porn addiction, masturbation, alcohol, drugs, weeds, and many other addictions. So addiction is not the way to manage Kundalini energy, whether it is in male or in female. It is going to increase the libido, and that is going to happen throughout the journey.
And that energy has two routes. One route is to go into sexual activity, go into lust, go into uncontrollable sex—and you suffer due to the consequences of that act. The other way is the yogic way. The yogic way is to transmute your sexual energy through sex transmutation. If you are a male and you are experiencing this energy, then you should transmute it into Superconscious through yogic lifestyle, through changes in your way of living life—and those secrets, those techniques you need to learn from the Guru.
You cannot do it on your own because, first of all, you are very weak to implement it on your own. Similarly, the tension is extremely challenging because on one hand, the matrix is pulling you, and on the other hand, consciousness is pulling you. The universe is pulling you. So it is very challenging—until and unless you train your brain and nervous system. You have to train your brain and nervous system through the sadhana, through the spiritual practices.
And you need to know that you do not need to be celibate to process Kundalini. You can have sex, but that is the way of Tantra. The Tantra way of having sex is through semen retention, where you can have a sexual relationship with your partner—with a single, dedicated partner who is feminine in nature. If you are a male, then you should have one feminine partner who is also receiving your energy, and that energy is transmuted throughout the process because of the feminine energy in your surrounding or in your company—who is having divine qualities of feminine. A female will not be lustful.
And this is very important to know—why you should have a feminine partner with good sexual energy and not lust energy. Because a partner who is good in feminine energy will not want you to release your semen and become a victim of her tantrums. She will not want the man to be weak, and she will not manipulate you.
You need to know that if you are releasing semen during sex, the female who is sleeping with you has the advantage of blackmailing you and dominating you—because she feels that you are not able to retain your semen for a longer duration, or even if you are able to retain semen for a longer duration, you are too weak and too lustful that you cannot control it.
And she is more sexier to satisfy your sexual desires. And this is where the man gets weak. You should not be weak to release semen. For that, you have to do nervous system and brain training—for your genitals, for your pelvic region—and you have to learn the way of breath control, conscious control, conscious movement of your energy.
The orgasm that you get due to Kundalini is much higher than the orgasm that you get during your sexual intercourse. You have to learn the techniques of satisfying the woman through tantric ways, where you are not releasing your semen and you have the highest control over your energy—the masculine energy. And that will happen only when you come closer to conscious life, conscious living, and conscious man.
You become a conscious man. Everything you do—with awareness. Even the act of sex could be done in awareness, and that act will become your boon. It will become your strength. You will know the difference in the quality of your masculinity. Once you start having sex this way, you will know that suddenly your dopamine level has increased and your testosterone level has increased, which is leading to your masculine and courageous and bold nature.
You have suddenly shifted. Your energy is more aggressive now, and that aggressive energy could be used for creative purpose. Similarly, if you are a female, then you should look for men who are conscious. This way, he will be able to satisfy you and at the same time your energy will be transmuted too. Female needs to have orgasm and male needs to control orgasm.
In this yin and yang relationship, Kundalini in men means that you should control your sexual urges, and in female, it means that you should release your sexual urges so that the energy is transmuted. There are many aspects of sexual energy of Kundalini that you need to understand, and if you are having a partner who is also in the divine journey, in the spiritual journey, who is maybe your twin flame—both of you partners are going through some spiritual awakening journey.

Kundalini, when awakened in men, makes the man more bold, more aggressive, more spontaneous, more dynamic. She increases the manly qualities in you because Kundalini in men leads to the increase in the Shiva power. She balances the Shakti energy in you, but primarily, she balances and leads to the growth of the Shiva power in you. And in the case of a female, Kundalini balances the Shiva energy to the extent that the female—the woman—becomes conscious enough to act in a conscious way, and at the same time, she increases the Shakti in a female, through which the female—the woman—becomes more receptive and more submissive.
Another aspect of Kundalini energy in male and female is that if Kundalini energy is rising in you, processing well in a man, then she will lead to the dissolution of the wounded man in you. Wounded man means the one who was a victim, one who has suffered, who was weak, and that had led to many traits in you through which you feel that you are weak and you respond to life in the same way. You are not able to take actions and you get hurt easily.
Sometimes you play the role of being a nice guy, and you want to hide behind the nice guy personality. So Kundalini will make sure that you no more remain a nice guy. She will heal you from the wounds that you have suffered as a nice guy, and she will transform you into a new man. Similarly, if a female was wounded due to her trauma or anything—being a victim throughout her life in the condition she has been brought up—then Kundalini will make sure that you are becoming powerful. You are becoming confident. You are becoming independent to live your life without being dependent much on other people. Because through Kundalini awakening—both in men and women—once Kundalini completes her journey, once you are enlightened, once you are free, then Kundalini gives you some gifts also, in the form of spiritual powers.
If you do this all within —that is, meant to get those gifts, get those blessings, grace of getting some spiritual powers—you will get those powers. And those powers will not come to you if you are processing Kundalini to get those powers. It is totally different. Your egoic desire should not be there to get powers. Your purpose only should be to surrender to Kundalini Shakti.
Whether you are male or female, throughout the journey your work is to surrender. And when you surrender, when you totally submit yourself, you accept your Kundalini awakening journey, you are able to remove the blockages that create hurdles in the flow of Kundalini. If you are in freeze mode—being a man—if you are going through Kundalini awakening and due to your addictions, due to your unconscious decisions, if you have become totally introverted and you are mostly experiencing problems in your brain and nervous system due to the hold, due to the freeze mode, then you need to reverse this order.
The egoic image that you have created throughout this life and in your previous lives, in your previous births—all that you think you are—will be wiped away by Kundalini, and she will bring you more close to your instinctive nature—the primitive man. You will become more masculine from the origin point of view.
When you and your primitive brain are highly masculine in nature, you will become extrovert. The introversion will be transmuted. And even if you remain introvert, you will go deeper into creation. You will go deeper into the different dimensions of life, through which you get inside—intuition. You will get powers.
You get to the higher dimension of energy, where the vibrational frequency is extremely high, and you can access those powers. Same with the female—if you are processing your Kundalini well, then you will become closer to your instinctive self. You will become more feminine, more submissive, and you will want to do something which involves you—not to the public, not to gain attention from other people, other men—and out in the world, you will definitely be creative, but it will be from the perspective of internal creation.
You will go deep. You will speak less. You will gossip less. If you are a male, you will stop hanging out with poor-quality friends or people—toxic people. Both male and female will experience this: that you are going away from the public, going away from the matrix, going away from the negative zone, going away from the toxic people around you—narcissist people around you.
And being a male, you will be more vocal. Your throat chakra will open. Each and every chakra will open up in both of you—in male and female, in men and women. Both of you will experience the different dimensions of energy.
A man will naturally become more masculine, and a woman will become more feminine. That is the beauty of Kundalini awakening and Kundalini processing.
In the beginning, it may not make sense to your mind. It might be difficult for your ego to grasp. But once you begin to understand the different dimension you are entering—your own dimension—everything changes.
You are moving from the 2D and 3D dimensions—the realm of time, distance, and space, where everything is perceived as matter—into an entirely new dimension of pure energy.
Just because you have a male body doesn’t mean you are truly masculine. Your energy determines how masculine you are. In the same way, having a female body doesn’t automatically make you feminine.
As your awareness deepens, you gain access to the intelligence chakra. This is not just intellectual intelligence—it is energetic intelligence. It means you begin to feel and understand different vibrations within and around you.
You begin to ask yourself:
Why am I feeling fearful?
Why is my root chakra blocked?
What are the conditions I am going through?
Why am I not participating in life fully?
Why is my psychological state shut down?
Why is my career not progressing?
Why am I struggling to earn money?
Why is my outlook toward life so limited—so negative?
Why am I like this?
These questions arise naturally when your inner intelligence awakens. They are the beginning of your transformation.
Kundalini actually means that you are becoming a better version of yourself. Whether the awakening is happening in a man or a woman, the common truth is this—she will transform you. You will emerge from your current state. Whatever parts of yourself you are unaware of, Kundalini will ensure you come to know them.
If you don’t know the potential you were born with, she will reveal it to you. Gradually, but inevitably, you will move closer to your true life purpose.
However, keep in mind: semen retention is essential if you are a man. And if you are a woman, staying away from gossip and the social crowd is crucial.
You need to engage in an extreme level of sadhana. Both of you must immerse yourselves deeply in spiritual practice in a secluded place—far away from the matrix—where your attention can be fully directed toward awakening your inner intelligence.
This inner intelligence will begin to activate the intelligence of your brain, which in turn will reignite your instinctive intelligence. As a result, you will start coming closer to your true self—your being.
If you are a man, you will begin to feel deeply centered. A newfound courage will rise within you. You will suddenly become bold, clear, and driven. Your life purpose will start revealing itself to you, and you will feel compelled to fulfill it.
You will no longer fear the world. In fact, you won’t even care what the world is or what it thinks of you.
You are simply aligned with your life purpose—and that is the very purpose of Kundalini: to make you more instinctive, more intelligent, and to give you access to the superpowers that exist in the universal field of energy. This is your last birth. So, as a man, Kundalini wants you to live the highest quality of life—whatever that may be, uniquely defined for you.
Similarly, if you are a woman, Kundalini wants to bring this journey to an end. It is the endgame. Kundalini wants to break the cycle of birth and death—and she wants to be free. And as she rises toward that liberation, she ensures that the body in which she awakens will live the most integrated and elevated life possible.
As a woman, you begin to realize that the limitations you once identified with no longer define you. You feel happier, more joyous, and your source of happiness no longer lies outside of you. Gradually, you begin to access the source of permanent joy, peace, bliss, and the higher energies, as Kundalini continues to ascend within you.
As a man, you will find your decision-making power becoming sharper and more aligned with truth.
Your throat chakra has opened. You now speak the truth. You no longer lie, and you no longer hold things back. All the suppression in your system has been released.
Similarly, if you are a female and used to feel fear about taking certain actions—like traveling alone or doing things that once felt difficult—you have now begun to embrace those challenges. This shift happens in both men and women.
And if both of you are partners, then that too is a divine gift. The universe has brought you together so you can transform into the highest version of yourselves. Kundalini simply wants you to live the most elevated quality of life—the life she is—through the sacred union of form and formless.
You may appear to be a physical body, but ultimately, you are clusters of energy. That energy is the life energy, the divine energy of the universe. The universal force and the life force are flowing through you as Shiva and Shakti.
These cosmic forces want to express their fullest potential through you. And when you align with them—you become that.
And this is what Kundalini wants.
If you truly want the best results, then you must dissolve your ego—your identification with all the limitations you’ve held onto until now. You must break free from the confines of the mind, the ego, the matrix, your conditioning—everything.
And for that, you need a Guru.
